“To say the Sweet Shop is an iconic legend in Mt P is an understatement!! You won't find better food anywhere at any price for what's on his menu. As restaurants come and go I can't think of any other that's still in business after 30+ years.“

“The first time we came we ordered Tlayudas de asada and they were delicious! I have been looking for a place (North and South Carolina) that has Tlayudas with the flavor and crunchy that I remember when a classmate invited me to eat a homemade Tlayuda. We stopped again and ordered a Carnitas one and it did not disappoint us! my husband also wanted a torta which again was so delicious!! My brother and I can never agree on the flavor and quality food from many restaurants or food trucks. However, he said he really enjoys the food from Mi Lindo Oaxaca too.“

“I had one of the best nights of my life here! I celebrated my 31st birthday with my best girl friends and the staff could not be more happy and enjoyable to be around, truly making me feel like part of the family! We were seated at the center table by the fireplace, which we were told unfortunately does not turn on but the aesthetic is still AMAZING and homey. Our lovely server, Jada, recommended the watermelon lemonade refresher, and let me tell you, it is to DIE for!! Why is it so good? Like seriously, why? She overheard one of my friends complaining about people putting pineapple on pizza and told us we HAD to try a slice of the Hawaiian Punch pizza. OMG!!!!! I have never had a pizza as amazing. It has hot honey, bacon, jalapeños, and pineapple, and everyone at the table was left in awe and disbelief. Finally ended the night with a nice happy birthday song from the staff, thanks to Jada and Maddie <3, and a warm brownie boat. If there was one experience I could recommend to any single mom looking to go a little wild for her birthday, but not toooooo wild because (of course) the kids still have school tomorrow, I would recommend Steel City Mount Pleasant!“
