The manager refused service during business hours and while the store doors were still open. He made me wait while I checked the menu and as soon as was ready to order, he said that the store was closed. Extremely rude

45 minute wait. Three people out. Owner/Franchisee not behind the counter helping. Nevertheless, still taking delivery, online, and in-person orders (I sat there for 45 minutes)....The person that made this decision should have been making sandwiches or closed down some or all of the online/delivery/in-person options....The two young people there were working hard. Sunday 4/24/24.

I'm left highly disappointed with the customer service at this location, after mistakenly placing an online order to this store which is close to work instead of the one close to my home. I immediately called the restaurant to try to cancel the order before the food was prepared but no one answered the phone. I called the restaurant no less than 6 times and no one ever answered. I reached out to Firehouse Corporate to request a refund and they said someone from the store would contact me, but it's been almost a week with no communication. I used to frequent this store on my lunch break but will not return now, because I'm so disappointed in the service and brush off of my concern from the Corporate office as well. Answering your phone is an important part of professionalism, as is follow up on customer concerns... and on both fronts this location has failed.

SSLLLOOOWWWW!!! No sense of urgency to get the food to the customer. It should not take over 20 mins to make a sandwich!

I just waited over an hour for 5 sandwiches. I placed my order online and drove twenty minutes to the shop to pick them up, only to sit and wait 45 more minutes. The place was under-staffed with only two employees who both seemed like trainees based on their conversations with each other and no leadership or management seen to pull them out of the weeds. I feel bad for the employees as they were set up to fail. We all know that when employees are set up to fail, things like quality, cleanliness and safety begin to break down, so this will be my first and last time eating here. No blame on the employees, this problem obviously started at the top with lack of oversight and leadership.

Food was good, but why must the staff use a lawn blower to clean the floor around customers while they eat? I don't think customers want floor dust blown up on their food. Of course, when asked not to do it, staff just looked at me like I'm speaking Korean.

Holy cow they are slow as heck! 30 minutes late for my online order. Standing there for 25 minutes and the workers didn’t even say a word to me.

This review has nothing to do with the staff. They were very courteous. My complaint is with the delivery companies that FireHouse Subs chooses over their loyal customers. I went into the store and there were 3 customers including me. I ordered one sub and it took 17 minutes to get. The young lady in front of me was done with her food and left before I received mine. The reason is they chose to put you behind 10 online orders. Then the delivery drivers come in and disrupt the staff asking questions about orders not even ready. I know for a fact the company makes more money of non delivery orders and the staff typically gets tipped from us. As long as delivery gets prioritized over a guest walking in I won't be back.

When I showed up, the restaurant wasn't very busy. It took a rude cashier coming from the back to take my order. She was snarky, rude, and clearly not happy as when I asked for garlic bread she glared and then went on to rudely explain that it was "white bread that they smear garlic butter on then toast. So, white bread for your sandwich"They have 6 people behind the line and 3 of them standing around doing nothing... I placed my order and went to use the bathroom. when I came out, got my drink and soda machine sprayed everywhere.Got dirty looks from staff like it was my fault but I cleaned up the mess. Then I waited...I waited 20 minutes while 2 orders which were placed after me were made. I waited while I watched then try to box my togo order in a dirty container, and while they complained about how unnecessary it is for them to have to "make" the garlic bread.Restaurant is dirty, staff is rude and very slow moving, and they made my sandwich wrong and served me burnt potato soup.Overall firehouse subs is a great restaurant... but this location will never get my business again.

Called an order on the phone. Arrived they never put the order in. Paid and rounded up plus tip. Then they asked for my receipt to do the order again. They put one stamp b on wrong bread and the other no pickle. I travel 20 miles to go to this store. They have gone downhill fast. Management needs to be looked at.

Beautiful autumn day in Charleston. I'm getting ready for a fall hike and decided to fuel up with a nice salad for energy. Firehouse subs was close to the trail so I stopped by to try this place. The decor is fireman themed. Fireman gear- coats, hats and boots are on the walls and the tables and chairs are Fireman Red! They offer I door and outdoor seating. During my visit, most orders were for carry out. I ordered the Hook and Ladder Salad for $9.99. It was Virginia ham and turkey with cheese, tomatoes, green pepper, cucumbers and lettuce with your choice of dressing. The salad was just ok. There was 1/2 a bag of mozzarella cheese on the salad...yikes! And the tomatoes were old and mushy. I don't like gren peppers so I took those out as well. The meat portion was very light. I was disappointed. I was greeted when I walked in and my server was friendly.I thought the value for what I received was not good. This place will do in a pinch, but I would recommend other options if you are looking for a fresh sub or salad.
