“Possibly the best salad I've ever eaten. Great spot after a beach day when you don't want something heavy but still want to feel full. The salads are BIG, toppings are perfectly proportioned, and they mix everything together which feels like an added bonus. I ordered a seasonal salad - This is how we (spring) roll - and my friend did a create-your-own style. We both wish we had this restaurant closer to our homes (I will be bringing all my guests here when I take them out toward the beach or into Charleston). Also, their strawberry limeade is fresh and tastes like you're drinking a strawberry. So delicious.Clean place. Not crowded. Lots of parking. Tables are really close together, but it's just a small space and there weren't a lot of people, so it wasn't a problem for us.Also, their dressings are all gluten-free, so if you have that dietary restriction, you're safe. :)

Parking: Plenty of parking. Located in a small shopping center. Free parking.

Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible with ramp outside and wide walkways. Main door does not have a button entry. The low tables (there are also hight-tops) are very close together but a wheelchair would fit underneath one table that currently sits by the counter. Chair can be removed. Bathroom door pushes in from the outside and remains open so you do not need to hold it in place. Lever door handle, turn lock on handle. Only one family style bathroom, wide enough for a power chair or manual wheelchair to enter and to stay in bathroom. Enough room for the wheelchair user and a caregiver if needing assistance. I don't recall seeing grab bars but now don't remember for sure. Transfers onto the toilet would be to the person's right. Sink and hand dryer are accessible. A little bit of a reach for the faucet handles but doable for most.“

“This place is so good. I crave a açaí bowl everyday now. They have all different kinds of bowls and shakes. They are perfect to cool you down from this south carolina heat as well. Best place around. Will be going here all the time!!“

“Our first visit to Burtons Grill & Bar will not be our last. My wife and I had lunch there before heading out of Mt Pleasant. This restaurant was attractive, the service was great, and the food was exceptional. We enjoyed the Chicken Risotto and General Tso Bowl, which were excellent. Burtons is highly recommended.“

“I made a huge mistake today! I have been going to stop here since we moved here. But I was always running late somewhere. I stopped today just to get an individual dessert to try out. Okay they all looked delicious so I ended up getting three. They were all extremely fresh and super delicious! The staff is awesome and treated you like family. They were so helpful!! “These gluten free treats were amazing! I probably over ordered but it's rare I find great pastry treats. Luckily I was able to bring my leftovers home! My favorites included the Mickey cookies, Toaster Tarts, and the churro doughnuts!“

My smoothie was great to! They were even nice enough to allow me to sit there & do homework while I waited for my dog to get done at PetSmart! And I was there for a while!!!! “Can’t say enough great things. Everyone from ownership to employees are super friendly and professional. We have used them twice now: once for our wedding and once for a birthday cake. Cookies, cupcakes, and cakes all taste so good and the prices are very reasonable for the quality. We will continue to use Bakies for all our yummy baked good needs!“

“Stopped here yesterday for the first time. I don’t live in Charleston but only came for the symphony. It was my daughter’s birthday and we wanted to treat her to something special. We ordered a few desserts and French pressed coffee. I love a strong, bold coffee and theirs did not disappoint! Wonderful! I forgot to ask her name but the woman who waited on us was so sweet and attentive. The cake we ordered was HUGE! We knew it was tall but the slice size was so generous. Even after stuffing ourselves we took home so much. Thank you Gala for helping make her 15th birthday one to remember! We will be back every time we come to town.“

“Forgot to add and item but the people are very nice and the food is really good!

Vegetarian options: Vegetarians and vegans can make a custom pizza and the vegan cheese they use tastes so much better than any normal cheese I’ve tried in my life! They also care about you and will let you know if anything you order(pesto for example) has meat with it(they even called me to let me know)! Lots of veggie choices so I would say you can make a bomb pizza being a vegan or vegetarian!

Dietary restrictions: They are very helpful and will work with you to find something you can eat

Parking: They have a lot of spots but I came at rush dinner time and had to look around for a minute or two(found a spot very quickly though)!

Kid-friendliness: The whole place is very kids themed and colorful there’s also many other families inside sitting so it wouldn’t be rude at all to bring kids!

Wheelchair accessibility: There isn’t any stairs and from I remember they have the wheel chair assessable slope onto the side walk from the parking lot.“
