“Excellent food and service!“

“Overall, we had a very positive experience. We were greeted warmly and our server Sophia(?) was an absolute delight. The bang bang shrimp and calamari were delicious and a generous portion. The burgers were great, shrimp po boy flavor was nice, although smaller shrimp may have made it easier to eat. The yard bird was phenomenal and the crab cake sandwich had a wonderful flavor profile. Sidewinder fries were a hit with everyone. The only negatives we experienced was the Cajun pasta was subpar with a bit of an odd flavoring to where my guest could not finish it and didn't want to take it home. The gluten free bun for one of the crab cake sandwiches was extremely dry and could not be eaten like a sandwich. A little butter and toasting may have helped, but there are better brand GF buns available than the one used. Will be returning for more!“

“Great food and service. Chef was very accommodating to a food allergy with alternative prep and substitutions. Grace was a great server. Nice decor and design. Atmosphere was hip and comfortable without feeling uptight. Delicious craft cocktails.“

“I came in last Tuesday and had such a lovely experience. Kelly went above and beyond as a server and was such a beautiful soul. She recommended the rotisserie chicken which of course did not disappoint and was so attentive. The tzatziki was mouth watering and the Mac and cheese felt like heaven. I don’t have enough kind words in my vocabulary to say how wonderful the service was, specifically kelly. I wasn’t going to get dessert but kelly hyped it up so much that I could not resist getting it. She needs to be given a raise or something cause my dining experience was 1000000/10. I will be coming back all the time for the food but also for the service!“

“I am not one of those people who post my daily activity or what food I'm eating or rate the places I eat..until now.. I'm from New York so I've had my share of diner muffins.. I go out to breakfast 7 days a week x 365 days a year .. have had my morning meal in several South Carolina establishments..you get the picture. Sunrise Bistro recently hired a a baker, Maddy. I have had a blueberry, lemon, cranberry/orange and nutella/raspberry muffin..I can say without hesitation these are by far the best muffins I have ever had. Maddy is even going to indulge me with a bran muffin. THANK YOU SUNRISE BISTRO .. THANK YOU MADDY!!“

“I had the pleasure of dining at Burtons recently, and from start to finish, everything was absolutely incredible. The food was outstanding — each dish felt thoughtfully prepared and full of flavor.

Our server, Amy, was amazing. She was warm, attentive, and knowledgeable, making us feel completely at home and well taken care of throughout the meal. Her recommendations were spot on!

One dish I did manage to snap a photo of was the General Tso Cauliflower — an absolute must-try. Perfectly crispy with just the right balance of sweetness and heat, it’s the kind of appetizer you’ll be thinking about long after the meal.

We also enjoyed the Mediterranean Chicken Risotto and the Pasta Piccata. Both were wonderful in their own right — the risotto was creamy and comforting, while the piccata had a bright, lemony kick that was just delicious.

If you’re looking for a spot with excellent food and top-notch service, Burtons should be at the top of your list. Can’t wait to go back!“

“Amazing food. Probably the best old fashioned I’ve had. Our server was awesome and so was the manager. My steak was over cooked and they insisted they get me a new one. The one they brought back out was probably the best steak I’ve had in Charleston. We will be back!“

“I threw a surprise birthday party with 30 guests. It was terrific. The upstairs had plenty of room and seating for everyone. The food was excellent with a great selection. Staff and bartenders were very friendly, accommodating and professional. My guest could mingle upstairs or go outside and listened to a very good band. I absolutely recommend having your next gathering here!“

“We've visited Vickery's Bar & Grill twice now - each time sampling several items and cocktails.

I want to start off with BIG positives:

-They have the BEST fried green tomatoes I've ever tasted, and I've tried a lot. What a treat! They also have fried plantains (maduros) on the menu which will keep me coming back. (can we get con gris on the menu??)

-The view is gorgeous - especially when you can overlook the marsh at sunset.

-The staff - host, servers, and bartenders are friendly, attentive pros who took excellent care of us. Thank you all!

-We were seated quickly each time with no wait.

-Everything we've tried so far has been ok. Nothing bad.

I have a passion for good cocktails and honestly, they're just not good. I've tried several and a house margarita. They were all overly sweet, artificial, watered down, not tasty. (Just my opinion)

If you want to grab a sandwich, share some friend green tomatoes, and have a beer or sparkling wine - then you'll be satisfied!“
