“We enjoyed our dinner at Jem Social. We were on vacation and celebrating my son’s 16th birthday. The staff made his birthday very special. We had 2 people in our party who had allergies to account for and the staff was very informative and made sure we were all able to eat something off the menu. Everyone, even the picky teenagers found something delicious. The birthday boy already wants to come back next year for his birthday. Thank you for a wonderful experience!“

“We came to Myrtle Beach from the upstate. A variety of breakfast choices. Friendly staff and clean surroundings. Food is good and they serve very fast. We didn't have to wait at all for the food to be served. Prices are reasonable. We had breakfast there twice and it was worth it.“

“After working, nothing better to come hear and relax, hey, even on my days off, great crowd and you gotta love a good old talk with the bar tenders and certain days it’s free pizza and tacos Tuesday, what more can you ask for, it’s a 10 /10 for me , go on up and give it a try“

“We spoke with the Chef, she was in the front of the house helping out. She was super informative and friendly. All the food was fantastic, the absolute must try was the crab cake and the brisket that was smoked in house. Highly recommend. If you’re at a hotel on the water this is as easy to get to as possible.“

We just found out about the taco bar on Sunday night, but we also just found out that it’s ending tonight and I was hoping that we could request to leave it open throughout September? It would also be a really great thing if you could send notifications on your Facebook page about events at the Cypress room? It doesn’t look like you update very often. With your new wonderful Chef and atmosphere, as well as as the staff, it would be a great Avenue to advertise what you offer. Thank you so much for the wonderful food and service!“

“Staffing issues in the area have hit all restaurants, and locals know this. Visitors may complain because their expectations are in vacation mode. Gordon Biersch has great food and beers. Be patient, enjoy your vacation, and realize your attitude may be part of the issue.“

“My husband and I ate here for lunch. Food was soooo good and the service was even better. Our waitress was so friendly and attentive. The frozen drinks are amazing. Definitely worth eating here!“

“The overall 4-star rating reflects the drinks. I am a fan of frozen drinks, so on a hot day, the drinks were perfect. The food left a little to be desired. The selection was sparse, but even within that limited selection, they RAN OUT!! Early in the afternoon on a Saturday! The service was very friendly, and I would rate it a 5-star, but the food item we chose (because of being out of what we actually wanted) was forgotten until we reminded the server. The atmosphere was tougher to rate because it was pretty empty, which could have been due to running out of food-i am not sure about that.
Ultimately, I would definitely come back here for a drink, but definitely go elsewhere for food.“

Madison stared us in the right direction with some choices and was a great server! Food so good you had to order the dessert even though we were full! “We stopped in for lunch before our departure. Nice little beach side grill. Decent beer selection, ice cold. The fish tacos were great! not overly thick strips, juicy, thin and crispy fish. The breading they use is tasty, really seasoned well. Fries are delish. Overall standard ocean side food that is done really well. Service was great and environment felt laid back (perfect for a beach side grill) .“

“If you are in the area and between the ages of 40-60 , this place will take you right back to your mommas house or kitchen in the 90s , 90s music playing , 90s decor , I was waiting for my momma to come out of the kitchen and tell me breakfast was ready , the breakfast was top notch also , I had the omelet and home fries and wife had pancakes , all delicious. I didn’t want to leave , I could have sat there all day drinking coffee listening to music reminiscing. Thanks for the experience“

“Had a quick date here with hubby. We had the Expresso Rocks and the Rooftop. Both drinks were really good. Mine was strong, the Rooftop and his Expresso drink was amazing. I recommend them. Just ate burgers and fries, typical bar food but we weren't disappointed. Orders came out promptly. Dennis was our server and he was quick, friendly and checked on us multiple times. The view of the beach was great. We will be back for another drink and dinner. Thanks Dennis and staff for a relaxing date!“

“I asked around about this place and got mixed reviews but figured we'd fork form our own opinion..... did not expect such good service & food! A little pricy but it's kinda expected on myrtle beach 🫤 mac & cheese was like kraft and small portion but everything else tasted homemade! My better half said it was the best shrimp egg roll he's ever had!“

“We had a really wonderful meal; the front desk staff were helpful, our server, Westley, was absolutely outstanding- very attentive, providing suggestions & tidbits about the menu as well as restaurant. The food arrived quickly, piping hot & mouthwateringly delicious. Definitely splurge for the dessert because it's worth saving room for!! We will be back, for sure!“
