The service was good.
I ordered the steak bowl for $13+, the rice had no flavor and minimal soy sauce. The steak had zero spices on it, same as the rice. We had eaten there numerous time, but it seems like it is going downhill.
I dined at Umi Japanese Restaurant a good few weeks ago and have taken the time to thoroughly think about my experience. I like the atmosphere of the restaurant, it provided me the feeling of an orphan squirrel in the rainforest nibbling on some food. Service was excellent, I interacted with this blonde baddie who was very friendly and provided thorough knowledge of the menu. Manager was chill and fairly nonchalant.
