Better experience than our first experience about a month ago. Two of us had bourbon glazed salmon it was amazingly good. Another had bourbon glazed shrimp skewers with bacon. That too was excellent. Servers were great. Much more organized than our first visit here. Glad we gave it another chance. Entertainment outside is great too
We had mixed reviews for our dinner at Black Drum. First, we were surprised to find that the brewery was not the brand but a mix of beers from everywhere. Secondly, there was an extensive Scotch, bourbon, and whiskey menu, so my husband was very happy. He ordered Macallan 22 neat as a before dinner drink. It came very cold, which is not how it should be served. Thirdly, I ordered a mojito which tasted like there was no alcohol added. As for food, my husband and son order the Tango,...
We enjoyed the food tremendously! Black Drum is a nice restaurant with a selection of local brews. The noise level was an issue because there were several tables beside us with a large group that had a few very loud people. We will definitely come back to enjoy more of the menu. The Bavarian Pretzel was light and fluffy; the Brisket and sides were yum; and the Solo Chicken was the bombdiggity!
