“As a Puerto Rican from the Bronx I can tell you this is EXACTLY what I was hoping for. The chuletas were on point! The staff were super friendly and the atmosphere was laid back and comfortable - just like home! If you want authentic Caribbean food at a great price this is the spot!“
“Excellent Puerto Rican food. More what you might find at a quality neighborhood restaurant, not snooty and unapproachable, but more sophisticated than you might find in gramma's kitchen. Fresh ingredients prepared with care. Superb balance of flavors. Apparently offering Latin dance lessons on Friday and Saturday. Next door to Gem City....both of these restaurants are worthy of your support !“
“We rolled the dice and visited Como en Casa and we were not let down. Tacos birria were DELICIOUS! My kids had burritos which were also really good. Service was friendly and fast. We're absolutely coming back and recommending it to our family and friends.“
“Interesting restaurant serving Latin and Mexican cuisine. Really busy and super loud. Outside seating available. We ordered margaritas…a pineapple pomegranate and a Top shelf. Unfortunately they were the worst margaritas we’ve ever had. Neither had any flavor…couldn’t taste tequila, or any other flavor. The menu is extensive.I had the Birria tacos. They were full of beef so much that you couldn’t pick them up to eat and needed a fork and knife. The dipping broth was just that, broth; very liquidy and didn’t add any flavor to the tacos. I was under whelmed. My husband got the pollo en coco which was a pan seared chicken breast with peppers and onions in a homemade coconut sauce with white rice. I tried some of his and it was delicious. Definitely not Mexican food. The coconut sauce reminded me of some Thai foods and some Indian dishes. There were a number of items on the menu that I’d like to try so I will probably return, but NOT order a margarita or the Birria tacos again. Our server was very friendly and attentive.“
“We were vacationing in Myrtle Beach and discovered this quaint Dominican restaurant. Read previous reviews and decided we should give it a try.We were not disappointed!! Great customer service, and our meals were well seasoned and delicious. I really like the Pastelitos.Definitely will be returning.“
“The food here is truly delicious! I got the Honduran Fried Chicken, my daughter got 3 tacos (chicken, steak, pulled pork), my husband got the pork plate, and my sons ordered off the kids menu. Everything was amazing! The owner was sweet. She came and talked to us about her cooking and her culture. Food came out in good time, my family played pool. This was a great experience. I'm so glad we stopped here to eat. We will be back for sure!Kid-friendliness: They sell Honduran candy at the register. They have a free to play pool table. My kids danced on the stage after eating.Wheelchair accessibility: No steps, easily accessible for wheelchairs.“
