We visited with a party of 12. Due to the size of our group we made a reservation well ahead. Our reservation was at 4:45. The Paula Deen Store is a charming destination that offers a variety of fun items for sale, carefully organized into major areas. The friendly staff is always happy to help customers find what they're looking for. The kitchen demo area is impressive, and the aroma of delicious food wafts from the kitchen upstairs, making mouths water. The store is also home to Paula Deen's Family Kitchen, an all-you-can-eat restaurant that serves family-style portions, including Down Home Dishes and Paula's Famous Sides. Guests can enjoy a family-style dinner with unlimited servings, and the first serving is more than enough for most. The food is very good and southern style, with great side dishes like candied yams, cheesy grits, and MacNCheese. The restaurant is very clean, and service is excellent. When visiting, diners can choose two entrees, such as Southern Fried Chicken and pot roast, along with four sides. The Banana Pudding and White Butter Cake are highly recommended desserts, offering a fun and fabulous dining experience. Prices start at $22 per person, making this a reasonably priced way to indulge in Southern comfort food.
