“Today was our first time there, the food was amazing and the price was great . Got a large amount of food for great price, super friendly and really clean place. We just found our new spot for breakfast , definitely will try lunch & dinner there too.. if you are down in Surfside you should stop by there , they won’t disappoint you !!“

“The first time that I went to Paula’s restaurant was in Georgia and the food was delicious. Today I went to the restaurant in Myrtle Beach and had the ribs that came off of the bone with the touch of your fork. The catfish delicious along with the side dishes. Need to open one up in New Jersey.“

“This was our 2nd year spending Thanksgiving at Magnolias.
Loved the food so much last year, we invited friends to join us this year. It is a cafeteria type service. No self serve, unless you have a large party of 10 or more, THEN you get to go upstairs and have a buffet style/self serve.

Pros:
Yummy delicious food.
Delicious deserts.
Friendly atmosphere.
Friendly staff.
Reasonably price.

Cons:
Too long of a wait in line. We didn't go for seconds because the wait was too long.
Plates are way too small. You only get one plate, unless you go back up and get back in line.
Some gave a good size portion, others gave you a tablespoon size portion.

All in all, we did enjoy our Thanksgiving here for two years in a row.“

“I recently had the pleasure of dining at 44 & King, and I can't say enough good things about my experience! We started with the charcuterie for two, and let me tell you, it was a generous spread. The prosciutto paired beautifully with the apricot jelly, creating a delightful balance of flavors that left us wanting more. For our main course, we tried the steak flatbread, which was nothing short of impressive. The combination of tender steak and fresh toppings made each bite a treat. I was also thrilled to find Virgil Kaine bourbon on their menu. The blueberry bourbon smash was a delightful concoction, perfectly refreshing and bursting with flavor. To top it all off, the owner personally stopped by our table to check in, and their warm hospitality truly made us feel valued. Overall, 44 & King exceeded my expectations, and I can't wait to return for another memorable meal! Highly recommend!“

“Be prepared for some spice! Biscuits were large and flaky, eggs were good. The chicken fried steak breading was super crunchy. I was not prepared for so much spice tho. So coffee was not a great option to go with breakfast. Large portions too so if you are a some what lite eater knows that one plate will be enough for 2. We had the biscuits and gravy with eggs. Nice and chunky sausage gravy. The smashedbrowns were excellent but know they have peppers and onions in them. Everything is cooked to order so it is a good place after church or brunch. They do have cocktails on the menu too.

Kid-friendliness: Good choices for kids too.

Wheelchair accessibility: It's in the Publix plaza. Plenty of accessibility.“
