“My daughter decided that she wanted a sweet potato pie instead of cake for her birthday. I wound up being under the weather and couldn’t make it for her. We stopped by Aunny’s on our way to Pawley’s after calling and confirming that they had a whole pie and would sell it to us. It was a delicious pie and my daughter was very happy. Thank you Aunny’s for saving the day!“

“I was just in Georgetown to do a drop-off and went downtown for lunch. The River Room was the first restaurant I saw so I thought I'd give it a try. I am glad I did!
I got the Shrimp Po’boy. The shrimp were perfectly cooked and they were large and plentiful. I came a soft hoagie roll with lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, and a great tarter sauce. The side of fries was way too much but they were light and crispy. As much as I wanted a cocktail, I had to drive so I got sweet tea which better than average. Great service and right on the water.
Next time, I’ll try the shrimp and grits, or the Bang Bang shrimp pasta, or the gumbo. Their dessert menu looked good (especially the bread pudding)!“
