The curry is the best I ever had. The duck and salmon dishes are amazing as well
We love Thai Lao! One of our very favorite places to eat in Myrtle. I can’t get enough of the green curry. The owners and staff are very friendly
I had the green curry, (asked no eggplant, came out with eggplant but I was able to pick it out), Tom yum soup and fried tofu.
Hubby got the coconut milk soup and Thai crispy duck.
Hubby said it was the best duck he has ever eaten.
Sunday at 2 pm and there was only one other couple here. I’m glad we stayed. Slowly filled up with more people.

Thai-Lao Restaurant is a hidden gem located on the beach, serving incredible dishes like Basil Chicken and Red Curry. This small, cozy restaurant is reminiscent of home, with a warm and inviting interior. The ambiance is friendly and upbeat, making it a comfortable spot for diners. Guests can enjoy very authentic Thai and Lao dishes, including pad see ewe, pad thai, and papaya salad. The food is genuinely some of the greatest Thai food, with amazing chicken wings and simple fried rice dishes. The service is excellent, very courteous and relatively quick. The food can be a little spicy but you can always ask for less spice. It is a great spot for takeout or a casual dining experience with reasonable prices for the amount of food you get.
