They didn't have enough help. It was a 20 minute wait for a table even though they had open tables. So I can only assume that they didn't have a waiter/waitress for the open tables. We chose to sit at the bar instead of waiting for a table. The bartender was overwhelmed also. So it took a while to take our order and then a server delivered my salad but I had no fork and it took 5 minutes to get the bartenders attention to get one. The food was excellent as usual. And...
We ate at the grumpy monks today. The food was very good. Really nice place on the water. The only thing I would say is that my husband was asked how he wanted his burger and he said medium rare and it came back to him medium to medium well. Other than that the burger was good and I had sushi which was really good.
Great overall atmosphere and cool spot to grab quick bite w friends or family while watching a game. Good choice of appetizers and full entrees. Food had good flavor but came out like warm. Have been here multiple times and would likely come back. Chicken tenders and wraps and usually a safe bet. Salads and sushi are popular choices as well.
