“The Willcox is a local gem and wonderful place to stay! The atmosphere is charming, historic and moody, creating a relaxing and unique experience for any age. The premium suite was very comfortable, with plenty of thoughtful details, and they offer great accommodations for dogs—welcome bag and all! The customer service and waitstaff is excellent—attentive and friendly. The food is incredible, but the highlight was the Butterscotch Budino. It’s the best dessert I’ve ever had. (You have to try it, no matter how full you are.) Whether you’re looking for a staycation or passing through Aiken, don’t pass on The Willcox.”

“What a great place. Kaylee was a great host. Brad and Chef Sam were excellent. We had full harvest apple salad with buffalo fried chicken and the ‘Kate the Great’ brisket burnt ends sausage with onion rings. We enjoyed the Pinot Grigio and a flight of beer. If you are in the Aiken, SC area you need to stop by and enjoy the local flavor.”

“We had our daughter’s first birthday party at Flanigan’s yesterday, and I can’t speak highly enough about our experience. The staff was incredible, so nice and helpful (especially the sweet girl who was in charge of getting everything set up for us), even with the shop still being very busy on a hot Saturday. And as usual, the ice cream was delicious! Such a wonderful, affordable party option that the kids (and adults!) LOVED!”

“Always had great food over the last 30 years only a couple of times there was a mishap that they quickly fixed with no issues. Very very very law-enforcement friendly and Bill is always available if there ever were concerns very proactive owner very proactive in their community.”

“It’s an Aiken tradition. I always eat the exact same thing. Where else can you get rutabagas? Also they have fabulous fried chicken as well as Black Eyed Peas and Lima beans!”

“THE best, most fresh street tacos, gorditas, burritos etc. very small, friendly place in the back of a small market. Cannot get anything more fresh.Their white meat only (grilled) chicken tacos come on corn or flour tortillas with cilantro and onion and a wedge of fresh lime. grab some of the sauces and delicious pico de gallo and you have an incredibly healthy meal. Cannot say enough great things.”
