“If I still lived in South Carolina, I would’ve been back again already, but I think about this bar like once every other week. This place is distinctive and friendly, with pool tables and vintage NASCAR memorabilia from floor to ceiling.Beers come out of a cooler on ice. Real chill place. Hear they have music under normal conditions. One of my favorite bars I’ve ever visited.“

“Had a great experience eating lunch at Break on the Lake. Enjoyed sharing a Captain’s Platter of fried oysters and shrimp with steamed broccoli and a baked potato. Everything was cooked perfectly. The wait staff is superb. Highly recommend. Will continue to make a special trip to this wonderful restaurant.“

“Christie, the manager, made me feel welcome and right at home as soon as I arrived. The bottle of Bud Light couldn’t have been colder without freezing. It was perfect.

I said I was hungry and Rich came out of the kitchen and told me how he learned to make his meatballs from scratch from a 60 year old Italian grandma. I could tell. They are great. The southwest egg rolls are really good too: the best way to eat your spinach and beans.

Turns out Rich bought the place last month, so Lucky’s is under new management. The staff and customers were so friendly that I wished I could stay in town another night. I’ll definitely swing through next time I’m in Greenwood. Thank you Rich and Christie!“

“College age to 30, 40 year old crowd. Enjoyed atmosphere, customer service very good, needs a little more bright lighting around bar and pool table; reasonable prices; would like to see more variety of music played. We overall really enjoyed our evening of drink and dancing.“
