Our waitress was awesome, very attentive and made my son’s birthday dinner a big success. The floor manager checked in with us several times, was very friendly and made sure our experience was great! “I hadn’t been here in years, tonight we popped in tonight for a family dinner. It became very busy very quickly. It was delicious as always, and the service was great - Jailyn was our server, and he took care of us. Very friendly atmosphere. I’m so glad this restaurant is still around and still my favorite hibachi in town.“

I have been here at least 3 times in the past month and I will be a loyal customer in the future if they stay exactly the same. They are doing some important things correct yall. For me a restaurant’s health score is #1. Restaurants that don’t post it or try to hide it in plain site can’t be trusted and they do that FOR A REASON! What the point of good lookn, smell good cheap-food that will make you sick?? But NOT with Yoshi Express, you can see their score up front as you pay; and it is in the high 90’s!!!! I’d you care about your health score you care about your customers— plain and simple.

Next on my list of accomplishments is food freshness, taste, appearance, smell, temperature; and will it be consistently the same every time I order? The is yes! It’s important to me to have fresh ingredients, those mixed vegetables are cooked perfectly and meat and rice is as well too. These items are healthy for you they not deep fried and offer you veggies which we need more of. They cook to order so I don’t mind the wait, happy to do so. The food is on par with the mall’s Japanese; but is so many other ways it’s better—now crowd, it’s closer to my home, and I like to help small businesses thrive in my side of town South Augusta.

Lastly is price and the customer service I receive. Both were great, no rude interaction as of yet and you get an generous portion of food at a reasonable, competitively price and I hope this never changes (I’m talking to you management).

People in South Augusta are looking for healthy food options that taste good and is close to home but in a safe, clean environment though it cannot be overpriced. Nice customer service is a nice added bonus.❤️

“I’ve ordered through the drive thru several times in the last 6 months. Employees are always attentive. Food is great, especially the amount and variety vegetables in the entrees. I go out of my way to order from this place when I have a hankering for hibachi.“

“It was out of convenience that we stopped in this location because they are located inside Walmart. We ordered 2 chicken bento boxes. The chicken was well seasoned and tasty. The dumplings were stuffed with goodness and they had the right bite. You know that one bite with the crispy edges. The sushi rolls were ok and the veggies were very fresh. Our bento boxses was filled to the rim. We had great customer service and were satisfied. My only regret is not trying the Boba but I will be back. ❤️“

“I was a little skeptical about drive-thru hibachi, but this place is good. I would order here again. It’s no different than going to the mall and getting hibachi, except this is better and faster.

Due to the high volume of people placing orders online, by phone, and even in store, it still only took an hour and our food was fresh, hot, and delicious.
