Let's start with the obvious and slide to the sublime... The taste was authentic soul food! Well prepared and delicious. The inside seating is clean and adequate but somewhat dated and simple. We had an awesome experience. Food was amazing! We had oxtails, smothered pork chop, okra/tomatoes, red rice, collards, green beans, and cabbage. It was all fantastic! And they were very friendly. Big portions too! Wish we had some better soul food like this in Savannah!! We also happened to be there for some 90s R&B music jamming so that was a plus too!
For BIPOC owned place & the pics they have online, we thought this place was gonna slap. It's one of those local places that the locals absolutely love & it comes highly recommended by them (because they don't know any better).
