Taqueria El Manantial is a food truck and taqueria described as a hidden gem in the Ashley phosphate area and North Charleston. The staff are friendly, nice guys, and the friendliest people. The food is excellent, delicious, and the best tacos and Mexican food in the US and SC. The steak burrito and pastor burrito are generous and tasty, cooked to perfection with perfect portions. The street tacos are extremely good, including chicken, lengua, tripa, pastor, and asada. The green sauce and limes are delicious, and the hot sauces give a perfect pop. The masa of the tortillas is the correct thickness. Service is fast and quick. Order in person, as Door Dash has an insane markup.
