Based on the reviews, Tater's is a hidden gem with great customer service and phenomenal food. The quality of the food is awesome, seasoned and prepared very well. The oysters and shrimp are a very nice size with flavor that is on point. Popular menu items include the taters ultimate platter with whiting, garlic shrimp, flounder, and fried shrimp, as well as sides like geechee rice, Geechee sauce, and fried blue crab. Other meals mentioned are the fried flounder and okra perloe rice, fall off the bone oxtails, insanely creamy mac & cheese, perfectly cooked cabbage, sweet cornbread, and pineapple lemonade. The food is fresh and hot, and the atmosphere is open for feedback. The chef greets customers with kindness, and the owner is attentive and honestly kind. This place deserves all of the 5s it has received.
