We absolutely love this place. I use to live in Upstate NY and always had amazing custard. I moved to SC in 2013 and the one thing I missed having, was custard from back home. There was no place here in SC that served it. I was in heaven when we found this new store of yummy goodness. I’m hooked. My favorite is the “ Fluff Peanut-butter Crunch”.
The custard at this Whit's is really well done and has a lot of flavor. Both chocolate and vanilla custards taste great and have a nice consistency. The flavor of the day was creme brulee and was excellent. I highly recommend it if it's available. My only problem was that I went one day and they were closed, even though the hours on the door and Google said otherwise. This is hands down my favorite ice cream (well technically custard) joint. The custard is creamy and has great flavor and they have a good number of options on how to serve it: cups, cones, mix-ins, etc. They'll be seeing a lot of me in the future :-)
