“Get it while you can, this is a dying breed. Quintessential Gen X burger place. My whole visit just now could have been an hour of MTV from the 80’s with the Bowl game on all TV’s. Not being a burger person, I opted for the chicken tenders this time. Not the best, but okay. My husband and his brother were with me and they are both burger eaters, so they were both quite satisfied. The sweet potato fries were excellent, as were the regular potato wedge fries. I highly recommend the fry sauce. There is an extensive bakery menu and excellent shakes. Restrooms were exceptionally clean.“

“I've lived in Pacolet my whole life, and in that time, I personally have never had an issue with the food, service or really anything at this restaurant. The food is standard small diner affair, so hotdogs, hamburgers, chicken, and a flounder plate with quick service and a nice small town appeal. Nine times out of ten, if I do decide to go out to eat and I don't feel like dealing with the traffic or the commute to spartanburg, Gaffney, or union this is where I end up and I've yet to have a bad meal.“

“Love everything about this restaurant. My mom and I stopped here for a quick lunch. We had been shopping and were hangry. Which never ends well for us. Great service and great staff the manager was wonderful as well as Christine who took are order. We will be back with my kiddos in tow. The food was awesome and great quality. We found a new family favorite! Quality and convince were both met!

“This place is amazing. Their menu is filled with so many options that are delicious. I try to make it there at least twice a week. The chili is spot on. It goes great with chili dogs and chili cheese fries and even on their cheeseburgers. They even have fish platters that are awesome. You won't be disappointed. The staff is like a well oiled machine. The whopper I had was thick the meat was thick and not over cooked or sat all day. I had 5 other guys with me and all their food was the same way. “We have a tradition, I come to visit family in south Carolina, we always do one finger at Cook Out. It is a big group, 12. It puts a strain on the place. Amazingly, everyone in this picky group gets food they really like. Service was a little slow. Atmosphere s was to local fast food. But family time together with everyone happy, priceless!“

“I usually get ribs or steak. Every once in a while, the food comes out Luke warm and not hot. They need to get their broccoli with cheese tight. It should be a creamy cheese sauce and not shredded cheese melted in the microwave. A restaurant should not be heating or cooking food in a microwave. That's not right at all.“

The staff was quick to wait on us. The order came out quick and hot. DQ food tastes pretty standard and this location was no exception. We ordered cheeseburgers and chicken fingers with fries. No complaints.

I love their ice cream so I had to get a dipped cone. The world is good today.
