“Tired after a long week of work, this place has been on the radar for a bit. I used to come when it was the old ventures. But now… this place is even better. Friendly server Madeline brought the ice cold michelob. Nice to be greeted with a smile and great attitude. The cheeseburger is very delicious. When you bite into that perfectly cooked, juicy beef patty you know care was taken to make your burger. This burger was thick, full of flavor, and the perfect bite of delight. The fries have great season, snap when you bite them, and came out very hot. I plan on coming back again!“
“You don’t go here for the atmosphere, as it is a takeout pizza place. And the service may not be anything extra, but the night I went everybody was hustling, busy making pizzas. So I can understand if there wasn’t a little extra smile. But the pizza really surprised me, it’s really good! I’ll admit, I haven’t met many pizzas I don’t like, so others might not agree with me. But I had the supreme, and it was piled with toppings, but not to the point of canceling each of the flavors out. The leftover slices were even good.“
“They couldn't get an order right. Sad, used to be a great place to get food in this piss ant town. Ordered a pizza, and not only is it cold, but not what we ordered. I stopped buying pizza about 6 months ago,,,,, was hoping that this was fixed. NOT !! That's why we stopped ordering before, now,,,, we will go to Gaston .“
“Paparoni's left Pelion. Figured we would give this place a try. Called in an order for a large pizza "the works". The pizza did not disappoint. Toppings are generous. We will definitely be back for more. The place was clean and the staff consisted of mostly young folks that were very nice and respectful.“
“I think you have to somewhat temper your expectations when visiting a place like this in a small town. It's not a large dining room, but it wasn't busy when we went, so seating was no problem. My wife and boys really liked their cheese pizza. I had a bacon cheeseburger calzone, and it was okay. Not particularly flavorful, but the bread was good, and it was large. The biggest downside here is the waiting. It didn't appear they were short staffed, but one young lady didn't seem overly motivated, and there was another one that was obviously brand new and just followed the other around. I don't fault her for this, and sometimes good help is hard to find, especially in a smaller town. Maybe with time and training they will be great. What saved the service was a young man who came in as we were eating. He immediately went to work and was answering phones, helping at the front and in the back, and checked on us from the counter more than our server did. You could tell he was trying, and I appreciated that. It provided a nice opportunity for me to talk to my boys about work ethic and how just working hard can make so much difference. When we went to pay, they also provided a discount for me being a military veteran, and the young man thanked me for my service. Overall a pretty good experience although I'll get something different if we return.“
