“Service was very attentive and welcoming. Once in the restaurant was very cozy, and quiet. We went on a Saturday afternoon, not crowded at all. There seems to be additional seating on a back porch area. We ordered the bbq chicken pizza and the lamb. The pizza was full of flavor. The lamb was absolutely delicious“
“I loved the ambiance of this place. I love that there are no tvs, how small and dark it is. It reminds me of places in NYC. The service was great. The food was good. I'm a little disappointed in the lack of pasta dishes for an Italian restaurant, but that's my only complaint.“
“The service has been on point all 3 times we’ve gone, nowadays that’s pretty amazing, the food is absolutely On Point, been outstanding every time, don’t mess up and not order dessert the Tiramisu is dynamite!!!!! I don’t even like bread pudding and my wife got it, it was incredible, Highly Recommend!!!!!!“
“I ordered the Alfredo Fries and Lamb Gyro. The fries were nice and crispy just like I asked for. The Alfredo fries were great. Nice and flavorful. The lamb Gyro was good. I lived in Europe for three years. I used to eat, gyros all of the time fresh off of the roller. I have a higher standard than most people for a Gyro. The Gyro at this location was OK. It was not amazing and it was not bad, it's right in the middle. The Tzatziki sauce was extremely cucumbery. They should use less cucumber next time. The sauce overall was about a five out of ten, it was average. The overall atmosphere inside of the restaurant is great. There is plenty of seating and a nice bar. They do not sell liquor at this location but they do have wine and beer that you can buy. The waitress was wonderful. She made sure I had everything that I needed and that I was ok.“
“Went in on Friday 2-4-24 order was expected at 7:36 didn't get it until about 8:45 maybe even later the store was packed and people were waiting long before me because they were having power issues the lights actually went out as soon as walked in and according to another customer the lights had went out five times while they were waiting for their food,,the wait wasn't the deal breaker for me it was the fact that the pizza just wasn't good,I've had better from little Caesars and the grocery store and that's disappointing,,maybe it was a bad night but this location doesn't compare at all to the downtown location which I usually go to but decided to give this location a try because it's closer to home and didn't feel like driving all the way downtown, I'll give them another try though“
“The staff were all a delight, attentive and so courteous! The food- wonderfully authentic, the freshest ingredients, and absolutely delicious. A very enjoyable experience. I will go above and beyond to support a this locally owned business.“
“Best restaurant in Columbia!!! Food is off the hook good, staff was AMAZING! I felt from the minute I stepped in the door like I was in the company of old friends. Can't say enough about this spot. It's old skool, down home, fresh and amazing quality!!“
“I go to danos very often . As a single older women I feel so comfortable there and too many folks know me....I get my wine and pizza....and chat amongst other patriots as well .I truly feel safe and happy there. This morning a gentleman knocked at my door....I thought I was gonna get yelled at because of my dogs.. well no barking and he was gentle and so nice....he asked who I was and returned my wallet from yesterday....I went in to get a pizza and some wine...I took only my keys and tiny wallet.....He was the owner of danos and I live close enough that he said he would just drop off....Not a usual situation and I almost cried at an the kindness of Dan to drop off....we live in a world of no ones cares......all the peeps at danos help me and chat with me...Dan went above and beyond.... I'm so lucky to have a local place I call home....lucky me....Love ya danos“
“Without a doubt, they have one of the best pizzas! I recommend making your pizza with the ingredients you like, and what you'll receive will be fantastic! I've been here multiple times, and each time the quality and service were excellent!“
“Had another great evening at this location. Had some great pizzas and even got to see a few planes land. Not so busy this day but they were hosting a private event. So if you need a location for private events check them out. They have the space for it.“
“From out of town and was in the mood for some good pizza. Being from NY and Italian I was skeptical. Saw this on googles “best list” and man they weren’t kidding. The restaurant is so nice. Great ambiance.I ordered a peroni but it wasn’t cold so Colette put it on ice!! She was such a great waitress. She didn’t rush me which was amazing after a 10hour drive. ?????I then ordered the small Greek salad, the breadsticks, and a small traditional with olives spinach onions and tomatoes.Everything was absolutely delicious. I was stuffed to the brim. This is a must place for some amazing food!Ok Columbia, I’m impressed ???Thank you for putting delicious pizza out there!“
“I haven't been here since relocating. I had a chance to stop in today. The food was delicious but the portion of my husband's salad was sad. He was so upset to pay $23 dollars for a salad with 3 scallops. Hopefully the next visit will be better for him. My pizza was delicious.“
“Stopped by this location on Easter Sunday, since a lot of the other locations were closed. I had the spicy teriyaki wings, which had a great flavor. I also had the egg rolls, which were amazing. The dipping sauce went very well, with the egg rolls. The customer service was great. The gentleman at the door helped with me getting a menu. The bar tender Gabe was very friendly.Definitely a great spot to pop in to grab drinks, or shoot a game of pool.“
“We love to go on "Opera Thursdays" (the second or third Thursday each month). Not only do we enjoy the food, but the entertainment is by some very talented singers. Some of those who have sung at Carnegie Hall, many traveling opera troops all over the world, as well as local talented teachers from USC, Columbia College, Benedict College, and other schools from the area.Villa Tronco is the oldest restaurant in Columbia, and with four generations of experience, have really perfected the food, wine selections, and graceful service. In addition they offer Broadway and Jazz nights on Thursdays.Reservations are a must for the Jazz, Broadway and Opera evenings.Vegetarian options: Ask the server for details as the menu has specials which include a vegetarian choice.Dietary restrictions: My husband is dairy free, and they always accommodate him. The servers also alert the kitchen because they have many items that are made to order and can be adapted.Parking: There is a lot at the corner of Sumter and Blanding that is available in the evenings. Look for the sign at the entrance“
“Been wanting to try these guys for years. Managed to get off early enough to catch them before they were closing. I called roughly 30 minutes before they were supposed to close just to make certain it was okay to put a order in because I don't like being one of those terrible people that shows up before a business clothes expecting full service. The young lady that answered the phone was very welcoming, very sweet about it, and actually almost made me feel Goofy for asking because it was no big thing. Ordered a large Meat Lovers, and take it home from my son and me. My new favorite pizza place. They got the meat cheese and sauce balance just right, my son was ecstatic and he normally doesn't care about that sort of stuff. Can't wait to come back and dine in.“
“I love that you can create your own pizza and not get charged for extra toppings. The service is ok depending when you go. I love the atmosphere it's very family oriented and chill.Vegetarian options: Since you can create your own pizza you can get all veggies or what have you.Parking: Parking in a small shopping enter and parking is a headache. Be careful because people don't look where they going and hit you and keep going!Kid-friendliness: Kids can go and enjoy themselves with parents of course. They can create their own pizza and share their creations with each other.Wheelchair accessibility: Handicap parking is too far away from blaze and mostly taken up anyway.“
“I throughly enjoy the food here. It is always fresh and flavorful. The servers are friendly and know the menu very well and can offer suggestions. My suggestion, in addition to all of the dishes on the menu, is the Turkish flat bread... the presentation is beautiful. The only thing I haven't tried is the pizza. Even when very busy, the kitchen is able to keep up with the patrons and there is never a long wait.I absolutely recommend the green olive!Vegetarian options: Salads, appetizers, pizza...Dietary restrictions: My husband is dairy free and there were no issues.Parking: Right next door is a large parking lot.“
“Ordered my food to go at this location last night as they were about to close. The owner said sure come on in give me 10 minutes. The baked lasagna was fresh with lots of sauce, and the mozzarella sticks were melted to perfection, and chessy.Great location to dine in with family or friends.“
“The lasagna reminded me of lasagna I've had in Italy. I asked where it was made and was told, in house daily. It was absolutely amazing. The service was great and prompt. Even with a new computer system, my server was careful to explain and answer all my questions eventhough she was busy and trying to navigate through a hectic day.The decor is very traditional for a Greek style restaurant. I don't understand why so many people say it is "run down" It's obviously a family owned business, even including a portrait of what I'm assuming is the family's children.I am looking forward to returning and trying more the made in house dishes.“
“Village idiot always has the best pizza and the best atmosphere. Our server mason is our favorite we always request to be sat in his section because of his great food suggestions and happy attitude. Its always a fun time at Village and definitely the best pizza in “
“Pizza is delicious. Sames like the regular crust style is "thin crust". So you would have to pay extra for "thick crust", which is what I consider to be "regular pizza thickness". It's a little pricey as well. But the flavor is really rich.“
“Great little brick oven pizza place. Toppings are fresh and there is plenty of seating if you plan to dive in.Parking: Street parking is limited, but there is an open parking lot behind the shopping center for all overflow parking. Walkways between the buildings open up the shopping center for ease of access from the parking lot.“
“Been looking forward to trying this place and found it interesting... Very busy on a rainy Friday night. Ordered at 4:15 and was ready by about 5:30. Guys were slammed and working hard. Everything was prepared correctly and well made. Really liked the meatball pizza ?. The Brussels sprouts pizza was good but the caramelized garlic was very very caramelized. Like caramel. Stick to your teeth. Different. I didn't like the flavor of the pepperoni on the jalapeno pizza. A bit gamey for me.I will Definitely ? be going back for meatball and try something else. Love a place that's doing it differently!“
“During my recent inaugural visit to Upper Crust, I was treated to a truly exceptional experience. Guiding me through the culinary journey was Christopher, our attentive server whose warmth and knowledge of the menu were remarkable. Christopher not only provided insightful recommendations but also ensured our glasses were never empty and our food arrived promptly. The dishes were served piping hot and exuded freshness, a testament to the quality upheld under the new ownership, of which Christopher proudly shared his involvement as part of the management team. To encapsulate my satisfaction, I can only urge you to request Christopher's service when you next visit. He truly deserves a raise for his outstanding hospitality.“
“Ive been going to cicis since I was a child, it’s a comfort place for me. The manager Jessie was so nice to everyone. Had an amazing attitude and came up to our table personally to ask how everything was and if I wanted my macaroni pizza remade because it wasn’t as fresh as he’d like it to be. Amazing service from him!!!“
“I LOVE mod pizza. The choices you have are endless. I really appreciate pizza places having crust options for others. I get their mad dog pizza with cauliflower crust and with the modification it is about $13. My daughter's kid cheese pizza was about $8 I believe and with 2 drinks the total was about $30. I normally get her the regular 11" and she can eat the whole thing, when I got her the kid one, she said that's it ? that's how much she loves their pizza. They cook it perfectly every time . When we walked in, all the workers said hi or welcome at different times and one said "you guys are so uncoordinated " lol I didn't mind though. The guy making our pizzas was a little quiet and seemed to need help but he was nice. Everyone seemed very sweet and helpful. They keep their establishment fairly clean as well. I love their aesthetic as well with all the photos on the wall. I do wish they weren't so expensive but everything healthy is expensive but nonetheless I will still buy it especially because it's close to my house lol.“
“The pizzas were good as usual you were able to order what you want and they will bring it to you when it's doneParking: During peak hours it is difficult to find an open parkingKid-friendliness: Is a great place for kids to eat they get to choose what they do and don't like and they have video game room as wellWheelchair accessibility: I actually don't remember seeing but one handicap parking spot“
“I’ve been coming here ever since I moved to the harbison area about six months ago. Before that I went to the Washington St location. This place is the bomb. Everything is always great. Great prices too. Oh yeah and they’re open until 1 am. You can’t ask for anything else from a pizza place. Staff is always very friendly and professional. Customer service is always a priority. If you haven’t tried this place just do it.Thank you Savannah!“
“Decided to stop through town at this pizza spot. Ordered 2 slices they were good wish 1 of them wasn't so burnt on the bottom but other than that it was good. Not to greasy or over sauced/cheese. Crust was a bit big and thick for my liking.“
“Definitely needs an update inside pretty badly, but the greatness of their pizza and salad makes it still my favorite pizza place around! I'm from upstate NY, and this is the closest to being from back home I've ever had. Salads are such a great side with generous amounts of ingredients. Lunch specials are daily & amazing deals. If you like a good pizza place for your lunch, this is definitely the spot!Parking: Most of the restaurants' parking is on a hill“
“My husband got nine wings. Five hot and four with a rub that the waitress recommended. He loved the rub better than his hot wings which is all he ever eats. I got the lunch special, salad, individual pizza and drink. The only thing that disappointed me was, there was no onion in the salad but that won't deter us from going back. The food was very good as was the service.“
“Tonight we decided to stop in and have dinner. It seemed as they may have been a bit busy however we stilled received our food pretty quickly! The only real complaint I have is when I order meat sauce I feel like there’s rarely ever any meat in it… But I know that so it’s no biggie..I will say the GM is outstanding and did an awesome job making sure everyone sitting down eating had everything they needed. He went above and beyond for his customers and that is hard to come by now days. We truly appreciated that and it made our experience great. Thank you. I hope next time we decide to stop in he is there.“
“I do suggest the products above but this I only ordered two garlic cheesy breads (one plain and the other with pepperoni) to go with some spaghetti and meat sauce ? I made for dinner and it’s really an addictive sumptuous Sin we have to repent from and keep eating ?#REBTD? in case this doesn’t mention it, this is the Domino’s Pizza shop by Sam’s Club on Forest Dr. Columbia, SC ?“
“An amazing location! The atmosphere is perfect for a relaxing place with pizza for friends and family. The upper level is a great open space with a giant table. Perfect for all the friends after a long day outingDon't forget about the beer cheese with the pretzelsParking: Depending on the hours of the day, the parking lot fees go down and at times are free. Same thing for the street parkingKid-friendliness: Relaxing atmosphere for all ages.“
“We ordered pizza for carry out for my work place. I ordered the meat lovers pizza on cauliflower crust. It was ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!!! I'm very picky about my cauliflower crust, and I actually thought they had mistakenly sent regular crust. It was THAT good. I will definitely order again, I will try several things off their menu.“
“Here now. Food is delicious as always. Service is not what it was. The two serving staff young girls are more concerned about their cell phones and one is napping. Have not been back to check on us since the food was brought out and water bottle remains empty. Food is still great and worth it. Probably better during the week I guess“
