“We tried Kounter tonight for Valentine's. ❤️ The service was excellent and the food was so delicious. We had the Cheerwine Sangria 🍷, Sherry Crab Dip 🦀 with Homemade Crackers, Salmon with a mushroom sauce, Parmesan Creamed corn, Hanger steak🥩 with Potato Pancake and accoutrements. everything was beautiful and flavorful, I wish we had room for dessert. I loved the history hall depiction of what happened with the Friendship Nine during the Civil Rights movement. Glad they honored what happened there! We will definitely return! 👨‍🍳🍜🍮“

“Shontae is an angel. Literally the nicest waitress I have ever had in my life! So sweet and we never wanted for anything. She provided refills on anything before we even needed to ask. The food was AMAZING. My ten year old literally moaned when he took his first bite lol it was so good! We actually live in West Virginia, but every time we visit my mom in Georgia we specifically time our trip to be able to pop off the interstate for Sonny’s! This time I made great time and got there about 40 minutes before they opened and instead of just getting food somewhere else we waited. THAT’s how amazing this place is. You need to try it!“

“We would like to thank the entire Pump House team for all their help from the first day we went to request information about holding our wedding at the restaurant. Thank you Zoe, Robbin and the waiters who attended to our guests with such professionalism that day, simple details that make the difference in what is good customer service. Even before the event began, the weather was not what we expected and Robbin was already calling me at 8:00 AM to give me the option of another of their rooms, something that gave me so much peace and helped calm my nerves from the rainy day. At 9:00 AM he was at the door waiting for MaxiEventos RD and Ivette Bautista de Gonzalez to help them and put at their disposal everything they needed for the decoration of the room and the cake. Your restaurant has left its mark with every detail of its staff and the beautiful views of the Catawba River on our special day. Mr. & Mrs. Francis we will be eternally grateful.“

“The service was delightful. The food was really good. I had a burger with egg, and I would've liked my fingers if I was home. Lol.. The fries had interesting yet delicious seasonings. I wasn't a fan of the peach cobbler, as it was more like a tasty peach cobbler filling (contains no crust, which is my favorite part of any cobbler). You can't lose with a brewery directly beside it (same owner, I believe). I look forward to patronizing them on a frequent basis.“
