I have enjoyed Lonestar for many years. The food, service, and atmosphere are always outstanding! It’s just like a trip back to the farm for a harvest time dinner. When it burned last Christmas I was heartbroken. The entire community turned out and supported the Henderson’s. I was so proud of them. Now after almost a year of hard work they have reopened with service from a brand new food truck on the property. I’m glad to say that they must have saved the recipe book...
Always usually great food but today's BBQ had WAY too much fat. I've been to other places that chop up the fat in their BBQ but it's a big turnoff. I've never had it this way at Lone Star and hope this isn't the way they're going to continue preparing it. We'll have to move our group meetings elsewhere if so.
First time at Lone Star and will definitely be back. Went on Friday for all you can eat ribs, which were great. Their fried Chicken was amazing as well. A buffet dinner that you can cycle through as many times as you wish.Highly recommend!
