Schoolhouse's pepper & vinegar-sauced pulled pork was awesome! I added extra sauce to it and hid the cracklins underneath (to sop up some of that great sauce). They also have a great slaw to go along with it. The rest of the buffet is great but I'm here for the BBQ.They are cash only, ($13 per adult) so come prepared, but if not there is an ATM onsite.The greatest strength at Schoolhouse (and don't forget the BBQ is awesome) is their wonderful staff. Our Corvair Car Club has decided to make this are regular meet and eat.They have a separate room for events and great food. Very casual and convenient with folks coming from different locations an hour away.

My husband went to this place last week and liked it so much we decided to go back so I could enjoy it too. Awesome history, atmosphere is very homey and comfortable. Great selection of comfort food. Lots of new and different local cuisine. Really something for everyone. Debra is an awesome, personable server.
