“The ribs here are insanely delicious. I had the dry rub as recommended by Kimberly, who was incredible to us. She had great recommendations for food and beer and was very hard working and attentive to all the customers including us. “Was in town and discovered this place thanks to a search for local places that are more off the beaten path. Found it easily enough, and as I was stepping out of my car I realized I had made a wonderful choice.

The atmosphere is exactly what you would expect from place like this. The bar is tiny, half the tables are outside on the porch, everything has seen years upon years of use, and the kitchen equipment is old, well-used, and well-loved. And the food, holy hell is it amazing! I purchased a pulled pork plate with okra and hush puppies. Everything was top-notch. Even the sweet tea was done to perfection, with it not being too sweet. This is definitely a place I want to come back to next time I am in town.“

“Like a previous reviewer, we had driven by several times and never stopped. We were looking for takeout tonight and decided to give Smoky Dreams a try. We were not disappointed! Everything was delicious and just the way we would like it. We had the brisket, sweet potato casserole, and coleslaw, all of which were yummy. Even the iced tea was perfect . We will definitely be going back. Miles was especially helpful.“

The sounds of the cleavers hitting the cutting board lets you know you're in the right place. The staff are very helpful and friendly. And the food. The BBQ is perfectly tender with the right amount of bark mixed in. I got the potato salad and baked beans, which were very flavorful. If you're looking for the best, look no further than here. “Visiting Greenville for one night and needed a place to eat that we could walk from the hotel. After seeing reviews and asking about SBH BBQ, we went for dinner and were not disappointed. The Sweaty Pig sandwich was delicious and very filling. The chicken nachos had tons of toppings and were very flavorful. We also tried the briscuit/Mac n cheese egg roll and the sweet potato crunch. Again, delicious. April, our server, and Brock, the manager, were friendly and fun to talk to. From the time we walked in the door, we felt very welcome. If you get the chance to visit SBH, don’t miss out!“

“Great BBQ spot. Love the cornbread and bbq sauce. The chicken and Turkey are both awesome, as are the wings, collard greens and baked beans. Banana pudding is very good but there aren't a ton of banana pieces if that's what you're looking for.

“They do pork ribs RIGHT! Their sides are delicious and they have a great selection of bbq sauces each of which tastes great. My favorite is their mustard based sauce, it's packed with flavor.

They don't serve beef, it's pork only, so be prepared for that. I almost lowered the overall to 4 stars because of that, but it wouldn't be fair, because they chose a specific niche of BBQ, and chose to do that really well. They are excellent at what they do.

Pulled pork, is pulled pork, hard for me to favor one over another, so the highlight here is the ribs.

“DOES *NOT* RECOMMEND I came in on 4/2/24 at 4:30 and paid 42.00 dollars for a family pack and an extra side of meat. We sat down and waited for our order. After about 10 minutes of waiting, an elderly lady probably in her 60's told us we cannot stay and that it was takeout only. She made an assumption that we were even planning on dining in because not once were we asked. She then proceeded to say that they didn't charge us for dine in, so we politely asked if we could pay the extra fee for the plates and dine in costs. She was extremely rude and just kept arguing with us. Even after my wife said, "that's fine we will leave, but can we please get a refund since you're obviously not bringing us our food," she continued to make us feel extremely unwelcome and essentially kicked us out. She just kept saying, "sorry this is strict policy you need to leave." My wife asked for a refund again, and the kid that originally took our order finally gave us the refund.. I don't usually feel discriminated against but she had a personal issue with me and my kids (who were being extremely respectful and just drinking their lemonade the whole time). I will not dine here again. I will not support any business that it partners with. I would highly appreciate hearing back from the owner who we were told was not currently in.“

“Go here if you want some good burgers. I especially love the Route 66 burger on their menu, it's definitely my favorite burger in town. The wings don't taste like your average chicken wing in a way that I'm not a huge fan of, but my family members absolutely love them, so I recommend giving them a try. The garlic parm sauce they have is excellent on the wings and the garlic parm shrimp skewer appetizer. The atmosphere is a nice, warm irish pub with a decent mix of good bands from classic rock to recent. My waitress Madeline was very attentive and friendly, much like the others that I've had here. They always do a great job at recommending menu items or explaining something about the restaurant. Mac's is probably one of my top 3 favorite places to get a meal in downtown Greenville.“

“I tried the Classic Philly cheese steak, with provolone cheese. Fries for a side. The cheese steak was tasty and had plenty of steak, peppers, and onions. I'd definitely order it again. There's plenty of seating as it's part of a food hall establishment. Along with a burger place and tap room. Outside seating available too.“

“Longhorn is always a delicious experience! My favorites are the Parmesan Crusted Chicken, Smoky Brussels (insert Uncle Jesse's "HAVE MERCY!!!"), and Fire-roasted corn. They also have great appetizers (shrimp 😋), cocktails, and steaks.“

Why do you have hushpuppies and no fish as well as hot dogs and no saurkraut? Not a complaint, just an observation.“
