“Meant to write this months ago, but forgot. We ordered $300 worth of BBQ, sides and buns to feed the Abbott Farms crew and my shop employees on July Fourth. OUTSTANDING EXPERIENCE. The BBQ is on point, the sides are divine (you have GOT to try the green beans) and this family is all about God. Just can't say how much we love and support this business!!!!!“

“They had a super busy lunch today! But all I can say was the staff here for sure held it down. Food did take a bit to come out but with how busy they were it was sure to be expected. Everything was and tasted amazing regardless. We had Elizabeth and she was such a sweetheart! She made sure we had everything we needed, even while handling a party of what was probably close to 30 people. We will definitely be back!!!“

“Attended the Ribs "N" R&B Fest in Detroit, MI. on Saturday. Got the " half thang". Was so upset I didn't get the "whole thang" cause the food was slammin! Went back on Sunday just to get a "whole thang". Looking forward to "CRB" coming back next year.“

“This is a must visit restaurant!! We had a variety of menu items (chicken eggrolls, smoked wings, brisket sandwich, chicken Philly and the wagyu burger) and all of them (and the sides) are amazingly lick your fingers delicious! Upstairs is also a large group area with live music and special events. Bring your family or come on a date soon!“

“One of Spartanburg's best! Been coming here for years. In fact, where did my wife (who is originally from Greenwood SC) want to go to dinner on our anniversary? Gotta marry a woman who'll choose The Beacon over a snooty five-star restaurant any day! Recommendations: everything but my go-tos or either the double chili-cheese with bacon or slice heavy on the red with a tea of course!“

“I cannot give enough praise for the service we received this evening by our server, Meleny. She is tremendous! I swear she can read minds because we never had to ask for anything, she just knew how to make this the best dinner possible. Fresh rolls, plenty of sauces, never an empty cup, picture perfect plate presentations; you name it! On top of that, her personality is one of a kind. She is so bright and by the end of the meal I felt like we could be best friends. Texas Roadhouse always has excellent food but this was the best experience dining out anywhere because of Meleny's service. We will be making the drive from Simpsonville to Spartanburg far more often now because of her. She handles the service industry so well; always keeping a smile on her face even when the restaurant stays so busy. My husband ordered the filet medallions with green beans and chilli and I ordered the smothered chicken with broccoli and a salad. I highly recommend both dishes.“

“The bisket is full of fat, if you like fat you are in the right place. I have never been served slices of fat. I had more fat then bisket. Will not return. Brisket sandwich was 10.00 and the majority was fat. They knew I had never had bisket before, so the served me fat.“
