An old school spot where you can find a good ole fashioned country breakfast. Onion sausage and other goodness awaits for you here. Nothing fancy, solid breakfast.

The service was great. We got there about 2:00 and they were several items. But they had a busy day, and it was just an hour before closing. The food we had was really good. We will be back again.

Classic Southern meat and fixings. They also have great sandwiches. I've been in a few times and everything I've gotten is good.

I've been a loyal Comptons devotee for several years but last time I went, none of the food was that great. They recently changed decor which makes me wonder if there have been changes in management or ownership. The combo biscuit which I used to tout as the best breakfast sandwich in the area was reduced to a sad small patty which was neither hot nor crispy, bacon that was tough, less than a full slice of American cheese, and a biscuit that tasted like a middling frozen biscuit. Not at all what I used to get. I hope they can turn it around and regain their quality.
I know places have their busy moments, but I was there for 15mins before anyone asked me what I was drinking, and 10mins after that, to order. It took approximately 45 minutes for my food to arrive at my table.

The food was hard and cold, the waitress Brittany R. was rude and did not come to check to see if we were doing ok. She ignored us when we asked for something. Then when I asked to speak to a manager she said there wasn’t one available to speak with. I will never come back after the service I received it was terrible and I will not recommend this place to anyone. If I could rate zero stars I would.

First time here for breakfast. Angel did a wonderful job of waiting the entire dining area, as there must have been a no show. Generous portions at very reasonable prices. The only complaint was the biscuits. They always get high marks on reviews, but ours were stiff and dry. Mine had gravy so no problem. We'll try them again soon.

Compton's does it once again! This time our company ordered catfish and meatloaf dinners. The candied yams were REAL potatoes, not canned. The collards were seasoned perfectly. Catfish was tender, and the cornbread is the BEST. THANK YOU ASIA

Unfortunate experience, based on reviews this is where we chose to have breakfast. Server explained is under new management and hard to keep employees. Forgot to make my wife’s breakfast, brought mine our first, waited another 15 mins or more for hers. Food was okay, not great. Probably wouldn’t go back. Server was great and kept apologizing for kitchens mistake.
