Great breakfast joint. Service a little
The service was great. We got there about 2:00 and they were several items. But they had a busy day, and it was just an hour before closing. The food we had was really good. We will be back again.

Compton's Kitchen is an old-school spot offering a country breakfast with onion sausage. The service is great, even close to closing time, and the food is really good. Generous portions at reasonable prices, with the only complaint being the biscuits. The catfish and meatloaf dinners are a hit, especially the candied yams and collards. The cornbread is a standout dish. A place where you can find good, solid breakfast and satisfying dinner options.
