I specifically asked the person behind the counter to include her favorites, the banana pudding and the salted caramel, because I always want to know what the people who work at a bakery eat. I would have been satisfied with a whole box of banana pudding! Wow, was it good. Each pastry costs $2.50, $3, or $6 more or less, and the box was a good deal. They're sweet, but not so sweet they overwhelm you. There's a great distinction of flavor from cake to cake and they're all winners. If I come back to West Columbia, SC, this is a definite stop!“
“This is our cake place for every special occasion. Parkland was very accommodating when I was picking out a wedding cake, giving me a variety of cake flavors and fillings to sample. You can’t go wrong with the amaretto or lemon cake! Their petit fours are so good too! Come to find out they have THE BEST cupcakes. I got 2 cookie butter cupcakes - my fiancé and I each had one. It was so fresh, had frosting/cream in the middle, and was just delightful. “Visited for the first time yesterday. Cute shop! I got the cheese danish , carrot cake slice, caramel pecan chocolate cake slice and other goodies off the shelf. The danish was a little dry but otherwise everything else was absolutely delicious. The cakes were SUPER moist and not overly sweet. Will definitely visit again.“
