“I've made this my regular haunt for almost a year now and don't regret it. The bartenders are friendly and are quick at what they do. The bar also has a wide variety of options for food and drink, in addition to several pool tables.“

“My first time back in quite a few years. Greeted immediately when I walked in. Since I haven't been here in a while, I was trying to figure out what I wanted to get and Zhane, working at the register, told me about a few different items and seemed genuinely interested. I ended up with the Jalapeño Pepper Jack Double Combo and chili cheese fries. When I went to pick up food from the window the gentleman back there asked me if I wanted onions and I'm glad I did. As I was eating Zhane checked if everything was okay and when I was done he swung back by and grabbed my trash. Everything was absolutely amazing, the people extremely friendly, and the meal ended up being way cheaper and I thought it would be.

She walked us through the menu and I changed my order decision based on her explanation of the menu. Ended up getting the eggs benny trifecta and it was delicious. Really liked the pork on the Benedict, really flavorful. Eggs were the perfect done-ness.
They don’t joke when they say things are sweet, so be prepared for that. But I got the savory dish, so it wasn’t and issue for me.“

Only thing not great is they are blaring music wayyyy too loud from a blown speaker ? it made it difficult to hear what the girl taking the order was saying. But this is a quick and easy fix, fingers crossed they take care of it soon ??“

“While in town for a competition, we stopped by to enjoy the beautiful weather on the upper patio. We sat at the bar and had a wonderful conversation with the bartender. The beers were excellent, but keep in mind that the selection on the upper patio is limited. If you don’t see what you’re looking for, be sure to ask about the options available downstairs.“

“We’ve tried the tacos de lengua, de tripas, asada, and al pastor and they are so good! We love all the tacos. The consomé is also really tasty and simple. Still need to try other things on the menu, but we’re hooked. They always give you cilantro w onion, some limes, and two delicious but very spicy sauces. We like it too because we can let our toddler run around since there’s music and a tv making noise! It’s perfect. Very kid friendly. Rosie is our favorite cashier, so sweet and attentive.“

“First time visitor. It's a small, quaint spot for breakfast/brunch. There were a bunch of college students ahead of me ordering and the spicy bacon, egg & cheese biscuit seemed to be the most popular order so I decided to try it along with a side of the hashbrown Casserole and a coffee The portion size is ample, for sure. However, after the first bite of the biscuit, I couldn't eat anymore. The ghost pepper cheese ( which I didn't know) that they use was too hot for my taste. But if you like hot and spicy then this may be more to your liking. The biscuit was too thick for the rest of the ingredients, in my opinion. But the egg and bacon were good. The hashbrown casserole was well seasoned and tasty and the coffee was good as well. The service was top notch, the ladies working were very friendly and accommodating. The dining area and tables were clean. I would definitely go back and try some of the other goodies, such as the fried green tomatoes and pimento cheese, as well as one of the specialty coffees.“

“Passing through town and had to check this place out especially for the new pinball machine “Jaws”. The BLT I had with their in house made bread was fantastic along with a wonderful beer selection. They also have many craft can beers for purchase, wish I had taken the time to check them out. Looking forward to sporting my t-shirt I purchased.“

When I meet up with friends for coffee or need to get work done, this is my go-to spot! The manager kindly gifted me a bag of their ground coffee to take home, and my husband and I love it!“

“One of the best restaurants I've tried in Columbia. Food was amazing and everything seemed made with care from fresh ingredients (which is hard to find in restaurants around here!). The shrimp and grits was hands down the best I've had in Columbia, Hunter Gatherer's was a close second place. Will definitely be going back!

Pro tip: you can park at the bank parking lot behind the building for free!

Kid-friendliness: I wouldn't bring my kids, not because it's roughty or loud...but it's unusual to see children there. Kind of a mature adult vibe. I'm pretty sure my kids would embarrass me.“

“Just in town from a cruise looking for different things to do and I passed by this place. Absolutely the best walk by ever the smell brought us in but the owners made us stay. “We went to Baked Bear on Saturday, January 7th. When we got there, the line was out the door (it's delicious so I get it). As we get inside I realize this 1 girl is working alone. Her name was Natasha I believe. She was amazing. She welcomed each person when they came in, had a smile on her face the entire time, and made us all some delicious treats. This girl deserves a raise and a bonus! If I owned a business I would be trying to take her from you 😁. It very unusual to see this kind of work ethic these days, especially from someone so young. I hope the manager/owner reads this message and realizes the gem of an employee you have. Also, your cookies are delish!“

“I just want to offer a thank you to the gourmet shop for y'all's help today. My wife and I have eaten here for years and love it. So when it came time for our daughter's baptism this morning when we found out the Gourmet Shop offered a catering menu it became a no brainer for us. The catering options on a per head basis for 12 people were an incredible value. Our guests, many of whom do not live downtown now want to make it a point to visit the restaurant. Thank you again for making it easy for two parents of a 6 month old to throw a great party for our family.“

“CJs is a 5 pts staple bar. It's a mix of all types of people so it's not the usual college bar even though it's in that area. The food is served until 10 pm and the sandwiches are all delicious. There's pool tables and a great patio area with a view of the fountain. Hands down the best location to sit and enjoy the heart of 5 pts.“

They showed up early and were set up before anyone arrived, the food was fantastic and served 100 of our military “s finest. The ladies that set up all the food, served the food were so polite, kind and enjoy themselves amongst all our Soldiers and Officers that attended. Thank God we found the best Catering Service with such short notice and it was remarkable. Thank You Fancy That Catering Services and we know who to call for our next gathering.
