“Hidden newly discovered gem, we are used to being disappointed especially with chilaquiles but we were surprised to get authentic chilaquiles served with eggs and good beans, good salsa and gladly no yellow cheese or rice (that's not authentic, that's taco shop style) they also offer Mexican coke Good service and cool vibe, coffee was delish and my French toast was good too. Definitely coming back!l“

“I wasn’t sure what to expect upon entering but was warmly greeted and felt right a home while our food was made right in view! The desserts were beautiful and we were told they were completely from scratch by his wife. We were lucky enough to meet her towards the end of the meal to share our delight of both her and her husbands work! We will most definitely be back. Oh and the way they welcomed my children and made them feel special just put the cherry on top of a great experience!“

“I wondered in before work last week and was immediately in love. I couldn’t make a decision, so they recommended the baristas choice. They asked me a few questions about my coffee preferences and delivered on the most gorgeously delicious latte. A wonderful experience all around!“

“The cat cafe is Purrfect!! Sea what I did there? :3The cafe is quite nice, with a pretty big selection of foods and drinks to choose from in the cafe, and fair pricing for the cat room and cafe. The cat area has a separate room for the cats (without customers) to go in, like if the cats get overwhelmed or want to eat. The staff aren't rude, and are pretty nice. The whole cat cafe is cozy, especially during the holidays. All the cats in the cat room are adoptable; except Darla. The cat cafe works with a local animal shelter and all the cats in the cat room are rescue cats and come from the local animal shelter, although Darla may have come from somewhere else, I don't know. The cafe also hosts movie nights and other activities to do with the cats! I would recommend coming to the cat room in the cafe with a reservation. I'd also recommend to come to the cat cafe (especially if your a introvert), when kids are at school. I loved it there!Kid-friendliness: Everything about the cafe was kid friendly!“

Umami Cafe and Catering Cafe •
3501 N Aviation Ave, Sioux Falls - 6.72 miles

“Umami- it's the fifth flavor profile & means "the essence of deliciousness" in Japanese. It is also the name of a little gem of a cafe, located in Northern Sioux Falls, that sure lives up to its namesake! My mama and I celebrated my birthday lunch there and were so delighted by the experience! Jess, the owner, was a one-(wo)man band today but she absolutely nailed our Umami eggs Benedict! Two perfectly poached eggs (definitely farm-fresh because the yolks were a deep, creamy, orange color) atop thick sliced bacon and served upon freshly-baked, crisp, light and airy Umami bread, drizzled with a Chipotle hollandaise. So delic!! ?‍? ?As we left, we took a peek in their carry out cooler and spyed some New England Clam chowder. When Jess told me she was originally from Vermont (and knew what clam chowder was supposed to taste like), I knew that was coming home with me, too! My husband got to enjoy it for lunch (of course I had a bite) and she wasn't kidding, it was on point, fresh and flavorful!!So, if you're looking for a fun little breakfast/lunch adventure (the cafe is located in the Signature Flight Support building at the airport) featuring fresh, homemade food and a creative, ever-changing menu, I'd invite you to check it out- soon!! ?P.s. They have free coffee ☕️“
