Deadwood Social Club seems to always struggle with enough servers, hosts can sometimes be grumpy but overall a great experience. be patient, talk, have a cocktail. When the food arrives it is awesome just have to wait a little more than usual.
Food was excellent but service/timing was sorely lacking. We ordered immediately after being seated and it took an hour for us to receive appetizers. Even drink service was extremely slow - over 30 min to receive 2 glasses of wine. No one ever stopped by the table to comment on the slow service or ask if anything was needed; and I'm sure management could see the looks of frustration.
Wow, what a great experience! There are a lot of restaurants in Deadwood and many are very good, but Deadwood Social Club is OUTSTANDING and more than a step above the rest! Our service was exceptional, our food was incredible and it was the best dining experience we had the entire week we were in Deadwood. If you spend any time at all in Deadwood, don't miss the opportunity to experience Deadwood Social Club.
