We waited a few minutes for service but it wasn't too long. Our orders came out quickly and they got everything right. I'm not sure they came back to check if everything was ok, maybe they did once. We did wait around a bit after we were done, finally got up and asked whether to pay a server or up front (it's the latter).The chicken mole was perhaps the best I've ever had. Came just after tourist season. No issues with food or service. This restaurant has 2 other locations (keystone and rapid), with the Deadwood site being relatively new (2022?). It's surpisingly authentic, the staff is fluent in spanish. The salsa and dishes are mild enough for the locals and children.

My friend and I met Miguel the owner. We were in Deadwood, and now know there's another Michelle's Tacos in Rapid City SD also. I'm looking forward to having the Menudo. Soon.We both had the special 3 street tacos. Very good.
