We have yet to find any place in the Midwest with authentic BBQ that tastes like home (Texas). UNTIL TODAY. Tina (the owner) was amazing to speak with and we told her how much we loved the food, service and hospitality. It’s definitely my favorite spot! The ribs and brisket are TO DIE FOR. I love the chicken fried streak too!”

“Went to Murph’s today for a couple of Philly’s. While I was waiting for my food, a couple was leaving and said it was the best Philly she’d ever had. She did not lie! Plus, they put a lot of napkins in the bag…you will need them! Another plus is the employees are extremely friendly. Great place! We will be going back!”

Chloe was friendly and attentive. The hostess greeted us with a warm smile and seated us . And the guy who checked us out (I neglected to get his name) was awesome too!! Give that boy some time off so he can go and explore the state he lives in!! 😂”

“I grew up in South Dakota and was back for a visit in July. My sister and l ate lunch at Roots of Brasil, and it instantly became one of my favorite restaurants! I had the risotto and she had the grits-both were absolutely delicious. The menu is full of unique and tempting options, and the portions are generous— definitely enough for two meals. We went at an off time and were seated right away. The atmosphere and decor are beautiful, and the waitstaff was friendly and very knowledgeable about the menu. I live in Portland, Oregon (a serious foodie city!), and there are only two Brazilian spots there-an all-you-can-eat rotisserie place and a food cart. I wish we had a restaurant like Roots of Brasil in Portland! I love discovering unique restaurants when I travel, and this one truly stood out. I can't wait to come back on my next visit!”

“My first experience was disappointing. My kiddo loved his Big Kahuna. My BLT, however was a huge disappointment as it lacked a few ingredients. The crust was definitely good so we may try it again at some point.”

“I don’t even know where to start with this place. If I were on death row and could choose a final meal, it would be from Lalibela. I’ve never eaten something there that wasn’t spectacular. The spice level is perfect, enough to warm up your lips but not too hot to overpower the perfect blend of spices. My only complaint is that I don’t live down the street from it anymore. BEST FOOD EVER!”

“A staple for sioux falls. My family and I have been eating here for what feels like FOREVER--and it NEVER gets old. I get the chicken shish tawook and then either the house salad or tabbouleh. If you have never been, go for the Saturday buffet, so you can try more items and find your favorite. Sanaa has supported our community AND other parts of the world, which is amazing. She is funny and kind and I enjoy her food (sometimes a couple times a week). LOVE THIS PLACE.”

“Stopped in at Taichi Bubble Tea, Ramen and Poke Bowl in Sioux Falls and had the shoyu ramen with beef. The broth had a nice balance of savory and rich flavors without being too salty. The beef slices were tender and paired really well with the noodles. Loved the toppings too - the egg (cooked perfectly and marinated in soy) was spot on and the fresh scallions and bean sprouts added great texture. Portion size was generous and the bowl came out nice and hot. Overall, a really satisfying meal and I’ll definitely be back to try their poke.”
