My husband and I had the 10oz sirloin. It was tender and delicious cooked to perfection. We highly recommend the sweet potato fries and mashed potatoes. Staff were attentive and kind, and we didn’t wait long for our food. The only thing I didn’t like was that my water and lemonade tasted bad…city water? Space was rustic and clean.
This was our favorite restaurant that we tried in the Black Hills. We initially planning on visiting another restaurant that night, but the other restaurant had an hour and a half wait, so we decided to see what else was out there and we are so glad that we found 1885! Hill City was a last minute decision on our trip to SD. We were hungry after spending the day outside, so we pulled up restaurants here and decided on the 1880 Steakhouse & Saloon. As we walked up to the front doors it already smelled amazing. We were greeted with a friendly waitress and she took good care of us! My husband had the ribs and I had the ribeye (I did share my steak with him) and we shared the blueberry peach cobbler...everything was AMAZING!! So happy we...
