“Mid September it was still busy. We parked in the garage, it was maybe 1/2 full, no one parked on roof. Glad we didn't have to during the summer when it is much busier. The carving was amazing to view in person. If you don't take your parking ticket up to the park area, there was someone at the gate as you leave.
They charge for parking only so the National Park Pass isn't taken.“
