Their donuts are so so good! The donut was fluffy and it had a good ratio of PB filling!
Long time fans of the bread and bakery items in general BUT today I had a turkey pesto sandwich and it was one of the greatest sandwiches I have even eaten. Outstandingly friendly service every time.
Normally everything is a HIT, however was very disappointed today when I tried the Blueberry Cheesecake bun, was supposed to have mascarpone cheesecake with blueberries… cut into it and was just a giant bland bun with a dollop of blueberries on top….. I got 2 and now I don’t even want the second one. Not sure if they forgot to add the “cheesecake” part but was a huge let down as everything else I’ve had from here has been great….. they also stopped buttering both...read full review

The Sour is a great find in Rapid City, offering super high-quality baked goods, including sourdough bread and pastries. The coffee is amazing, with options like regular drip, a miso caramel americano, and mocha lattes, alongside an amazing selection of teas. For food, the ham and gruyere sandwich is absolutely delicious, though the BEC sandwich was a pass for some. The chocolate chip cookie is one of the best, but the sourdough donuts and croissants were just okay for one reviewer. The staff is friendly, service is fast, and the inside space seems cozy. It is worth a try for a quick bite, to sit inside, or to take away.
