This place was absolutely AMAZING! I was worried it was going to be another whitewashed Mexican place, but it wasn’t! Everything was authentic and amazing, the staff care so much about their customers and it shows.Their food? DELICIOUS! The tacos were flavorful and cooked just right. The rice and beans were top tier as well! I’d highly reccomend it to anyone who wants real Mexican food.

I wasn’t particularly thrilled that our waiter disappeared after rushing us after we got our food. Once we were finished he didn’t come back for about 20 mins. Too busy talking to the young lady server.The Fajitas were basic..Shrimp tails left on.Semi small shrimp.. no taste or seasoning.I didn’t necessarily taste anything. Beans were basic also.Flavorless. Pineapple wasn’t even grilled. Peppers over cooked. Just bland.The Water was obviously tap water.I much rather go to la fiesta azteca than come back here.This was my first and last visit unfortunately was not impressed nor would not pay $18 for something I can get at Gilberto’s for $10.Lots of room for improvement tho.

Yeah, top three Latino foof establishments in Sioux Falls. We have not been disappointed. Ask for their uber hot salsa if you are looking for a kick. Prices are competitive, service is great. Chips and salsa complimentary of course. Love this place.

Update (2024): How many places can you visit occasionally for seven years and never have a bad experience? My experience...not many! Still highly recommend, still our favorite Mexican place in Sioux Falls! Love the free chips and salsa...Our favorite Mexican restaurant in Sioux Falls...and there are quite a few to choose from now! The service is fast, always friendly, and the food is always good and reasonably priced. Get some horchata while you are there...Dietary restrictions: Just make sure you don't get flour tortillas, and you are gluten-free on most dishes. Hold the cheese on most dishes and you are dairy-free. Low cross-contamination risk.

I really like this Mexican restaurant. I've never had a bad experience here!
Menudo was very good and I was glad and pleasantly surprised that they serve it everyday. It was delicious and the ratio of honey comb tripe and tendon was great. Beer was super cold just like I like it. Oysters were disappointing and I don’t know why I decided to order them in South Dakota… not fresh.
