I've tried other sushi places, but love that the owner is Japanese and prides himself in sharing the cuisine of his culture, with fresh and authentic food. They are family run and are all such wonderful people.
This is easily Michelin two star restaurant just because of how fresh and melt in your mouth their sushi is. Just amazing. Still at it since 2001 when I first lived here. I actually drove out of my way from Michigan to Colorado Springs just to eat here (Badlands and black hills are just a bonus after thought). If you are a serious sushi lover, come here. We have had a enormous amount of sushi in our journeys but Sushi Masa's Chirashi bowl is the best by far and included giant pieces of salmon, toro, tuna, octopus, squid, shrimp, yellow tail and even huge scallops! Usually we don't eat the rice in the chirashi bowl. But in this case, the tasty rice was the star and included massago generously spread over the rice.
