“I fly into Sioux Falls from Seattle every other month for work and have always had a difficult time finding sushi that's fresh and affordable. I'm so glad I found Sakura Sushi this time around because it's the best sushi I've had here - super comparable to what I can get back home. The Cantonese family that took/made my order were friendly, and quick with getting me my takeout order. The sashimi was fresh, not fishy tasting at all, and the deep fried soft shell crab and miso soup were great as well. They don't skimp on the portions and are thoughtful with packing the to-go order. I will come here every time I come back to support a local, family-owned business; I don't usually write reviews, but this restaurant definitely deserves it!“

“My family & I stopped in at 9:30 p.m, which happened to be their closing time & we where still welcomed in to this fine establishment. “Sushi rolls are always incredible here, they're all great, something for everyone's taste and can't go wrong with whatever you go with. Haven't tried the bento boxes or those sorts of menu options, just get sushi rolls and a ramuné, usually. Service is nice, the chef is maybe a little... curt, but polite
Just how chefs can be, they're more focused thinking about their food. And I would say that shows! The rolls are always so very well made and delicious to eat.
Would recommend this place to anyone who wants good, quick sushi rolls.
I've heard their sashami is great too but haven't tried it myself. Though I have no doubts to the validity of that statement.
It is in the food court, so it can be a bit loud and/or crowded, but it's a cozy atmosphere.“

“The owner Fumi has high quality traditional fish. When I visited there was toro. The presentation gives honor to a traditional sushi resturant presentation. “This is my go to sushi spot in Sioux Falls. The staff is always so friendly. The service is quick and you can tell that the fish is fresh. They put a great amount of protein in their rolls as well. I’ve taken many clients here and they’ve all loved it. The hibachi is fantastic as well!“

“Definitely a hidden gem of souix falls . We were nervous to try hot pot with our daughter (very picky 7 year old ) . They allowed her to order from the regular menu even though we were in the hot pot serving room . She said ‘give them 20 million stars ‘ for the sesame chicken 😂.
