Amazing food. Amazing service. Vanesa was super nice and recommended the Jerk Chicken which was the best meal I’ve had in a long time. I loved the ambience of the restaurant. Beautiful interior and an open second floor that was super fun to sit in. 10/10 would be a regular here if I lived in Sioux Falls

Place is very beautiful, but I had a hard time with not knowing the food was spicy both times I went. I ordered the feijoada and yuca with meat and onions. Feijoada and meat was very very spicy for me and literally I could not eat it. Mandioca was amazing. Also ordered the pastel and it had OLIVES. Not disclosed on the menu, like many things. For a $12 pastel, I was not happy with the fact that it said nothing on the menu, just “chicken or Beef”.

I was recently in Sioux Falls for a long weekend and Roots of Brasil did not disappoint!! Wow!!!! We ordered a little bit of everything - including elote, frango risotto, greens and jerk chicken - and everything was SO good. The flavor profile was so robust yet not overpowering…. I’ve never had anything quite like this.- everything tasted so fresh! Definitely a must try if you’re ever in the Sioux Falls area!! So good!!! I will definitely be back!!
