“I stopped in to West River Whiskey Co. last week. I happened to catch the tail end of a whiskey sampling from. After it concluded I was asked if I wanted to do a sampling. I said for sure. He also asked why I didn't just join the one in progress. I said I didn't want to slow it down and I wanted to here some of the information again. The experience was AMAZING!!! Dave definitely knows what he's talking about. Learned a lot about the whiskeys and bourbons they sell. The whole experience was $20. You get a free glass and a lot of different samples. No obligation to buy, but I went with the high end bourbon. Ibgot to bottle and label it myself. 110% wortj it if in Deadwood and like bourbon and whiskey. Oh, and ask if Dave is available.”

“Deadwood Social Club seems to always struggle with enough servers, hosts can sometimes be grumpy but overall a great experience. be patient, talk, have a cocktail. When the food arrives it is awesome just have to wait a little more than usual.”

“Pleasantly surprised. Formerly of Fresno and grew up with California wines we were curious as to what South Dakota had to offer. Well the winemaker is a graduate of CSU Fresno Enology Department... Good start! All wines tasted were lovely but light for our liking. They hit a home run with their Sparkling wines and that's what we took home. Beautiful tasting room and lovely staff; informative and over the top service. Glad we visited!”

“Did it right, got there early. Steak medium rare. An amazing experience and thank FLL we picked it. Nicole our server was amazing, friendly and knowledgeable with recommendations. For the manager, my only recommendation would be to have the hostess a little more welcoming and concerned about their job and maybe better communication about what to do before you get the test to go down stairs before “everyone “ gets the same text at opening. I didn’t have an issue but many were complaining about the disorganization. Will definitely be back in a next visit and no doubt a recommendation to others if you are unsure. This was also on a Kool nights week day 1.”

“We were in Saturday for a late birthday lunch and it was absolutely perfect! The food was phenomenal, everyone in our group loved what they ordered, but beyond that our server Austin was amazing. We were a little rowdy and he was great at putting up with our nonsense and was so much fun but also very knowledgeable and made great food recommendations. I had a burger that Austin recommended and it was delicious! We also really enjoyed the bar tender too but unfortunately I didn’t get her name. Overall it was a great experience and we will definitely be back!”

“Great place for a boost of energy. The gal working today did a great job. I ordered a 24oz iced sugar free surprise me. She made a brown sugar vanilla (Yes using sugar free syrups) and it is great. I've traveled by here many times and finally got to stop earlier this week, so had to stop again on the way through today!!”

“Have a very nice afternoon service, good sized portions. We had the chicken lettuce wraps, the soup in a bread bowl, and my wife had the different flights of soup. I also had a delicious French dip with Swiss cheese, tender roast beef an au jus for dipping. Highly reccomend eating here again!”
