“I’ve had this downtown coffee shop on my list of places to try for probably a year! I’m sorry it took me so long — what a great spot for delicious baking and food. Cinnamon buns are my “thing” and I’d been skeptical of the praise this place had received for theirs, but it was well worth it!! They were big, juicy, and delicious! It didn’t hurt that a batch had just come out of the oven! To start, though, I had a bowl of their tortilla soup. It had delicious flavour and came with two large homemade rolls. However, it was 1:30 pm before I ordered it, and the soup was not very hot. I’m sure I could have had them warm it up though. Also, the large bowl of soup was $10 which seemed a bit on the high side, but I guess most places are similar cost-wise. The service was very accommodating, and the atmosphere was really nice — as nice if not nicer than other downtown coffee shops. There was lots of seating and it was pretty quiet until 2:30 when some downtown workers stopped in for their breaks. Overall, I’m impressed and will be back! As a side note, they also sell Twin Peaks ice cream!“

“First time trying Dee's and it was great! Soup was extremely good homemade shitake mushroom soup. Great pita pizza to go with it for only $11!. Dee was also extremely friendly. We chatted the entire time I was there. I will definitely be back for more soup and to try some sandwiches. It's located in the lower level of the Pacific Avenue medical building .“

“The service here is absolutely exceptional. I came in not sure what to order and the barista took the time to walk me through their menu and recommend something based on what I usually like. I ended up with a brown sugar iced latte and it was phenomenal — rich, just sweet enough, and incredibly refreshing. I sat near the window and enjoyed the calm, chill atmosphere. Whether you're a coffee connoisseur or just need a place to recharge, this café ticks all the boxes. Will definitely be bringing friends next time.“

“Loved my visit out to Solar Gardens Succulent Greenhouse and Bistro. Had a delicious gluten free chicken salad sandwich and candied pecan, goat cheese and spinach salad! This place is beautiful and has so much potential. The only thing keeping it from being 5 stars is it's a bit rundown with a lot of clutter in the way in some spots. The greenhouse was very cool but tight to navigate. Wouldn't be accessible for bigger people or mobility aids.“

“Frenzy has beautiful space and decoration with flowers and other stuff on shelf. We love wonton soup that is so yummy and different from other restaurants in the city. Also the drinks are excellent. I tried lychee tea and my husband tried Dalgona coffee that were so amazing and tasty. Luckily we found it last 30 mins before it’s closed at 5pm but the lady was so kind to let us enjoyed our meals until 5:15. We will be back because it’s so close to the hospital where my husband getting his treatment. 5 stars for this beautiful, yummy and friendly restaurant“

“I had my breakfast at Junior Cafe on Broadway Avenue this past Saturday to meet a friend. Despite the cold weather, the cafe was wonderfully heated and comfortable, making the experience cozy and inviting. I ordered a mocha and a chocolate croissant, both of which were delightful. The staff was gentle and quick to get my order, adding to the pleasant atmosphere.
The tables were comfortable, although as more people arrived, the space did get a bit tighter. However, this didn't bother me much. There's also a counter facing Broadway if you're looking for another seating option. Overall, I had a great time and would recommend Junior Cafe for a warm and cozy spot to catch up with friends.“
