Was there from Winnipeg this August 2026. Had some ice tea and cheese cake. Loved this place and this part of town. When in town do stop there.
We stopped in Saturday afternoon after wandering around downtown and needed a break, and the flat white and lemon poppyseed loaf really hit the spot. The staff remembered our order was to go slower on the ice, which sounds small but it made us feel like regulars right away. There's a nice window seat where you can watch people go by, perfect for two people who like to sit and people watch after a day of sightseeing. Quant place for lunch or coffee. Homemade soup & sandwiches, desserts. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff.

Tastebuds Cafe is a terrific spot for lunch with a heavenly potato dill soup and herb & cheese biscuit that is to die for. The staff is nice, offering a great selection of ice cream flavors and delicious sandwich choices. The atmosphere blends artistic touches with comforting simplicity, and the patio furniture is solid. The service is exceptional, going above and beyond for customers, making it a highly recommended spot for a meal.
