Rice Vermicelli with Chicken Shrimp and Beef

“We live in Moose Jaw and were out for a drive in the country. We ended up in Lumsden and decided to try Linda's Place. It may be small but the food was great. We both had the Vermicelli Noodle Bowls and took home an order of the Pad Thai. The staff were very friendly and approachable. We will be making the hour drive again.”

Union Soup in a Whole Wheat Bun

“Was pleasantly surprised to find Jane Doughs on an early Sunday morning drive through Lumsden. I thought I was destined for a horrible gas station coffee and packaged pastry. Instead I got a spicy dirty Chai, a warm Raspberry scone, and lovely chit chat with the barista. Great business name. Looking forward to coming back with the intention of sitting down and trying out menu items.”

“We went twice to this Restaurant, which unfortunatly is only open at 3pm. I did hear from a friend who ordered French Toast, which isn't on the menu, and they made it for pick-up well before opening hours. So... It feels like this place is under new management? Not sure, but really really friendly service. The first outing I had the super large serving of Veggie Pakoras which are Indian Style 'Fritter' and very flavourful. They came with the 'Imli' sauce which is a sweet and sour dipping sauce. I found that tasty but a bit thin in viscosity. I really wished they also served it with the traditional 'green coriander chutney' which has a bit more bite. So...bring your own hot sauce. My partner had the two peice fish and chips which is beautifully displayed on a wooden board, and a huge portion. Delicious fries, I might add. Second night we started with a lovely serving of spinach dip and homemade pita chips. Sooooo good, ooey cheese pull, and packed with flavour. We ordered the Hawaiian pizza with extra cheese and extra sauce. Odd thing was there didn't seem to be any tomato sauce, unless they use a Bechamel sauce instead??? There was lots of cheese though. My partner prefers sliced ham instead of crumbled- so he was disappointed. Their hamburgers look really good though, and I do wished we could have tried more on the menu. The ambiance is really cute in this place and definately a local favourite as the pickings are slim in Craven.”
