I used to live in Regina many years ago and forgot about Houston Pizza, came back for a visit and decided to get a pie... wow! Great pizza! Rivaling the usual pizza places in Calgary... in fact I'd say out doing them completely! Nice work Houston Pizza, consider opening one up in South Calgary..lol
Happened to be at Houston Pizza on Father’s Day for Lunch. Kid wanted to take me for a pizza to share. Interesting enough; they wouldn’t serve us pizza; on the buffet brunch, which didn’t have any pizza. For a place called Houston Pizza; you should be able to get pizza.
Definitely not the pizza it was in the 90s. Parents would order a ham and pineapple and the ham would be over 1cm thick, dough weighed down from the weight of the meat. Even the grease was part of the greatness. It isn't as good anymore and im sad that it's gone downhill. At least there's some other solid regina pizza places. At least the 55 year deal made it worth it to try their pizza again.
