The Keg Steakhouse + Bar - Regina South

We had a great experience! Restaurant was clean, food was delicious and our servers were great. My husband has Celiac and they were very attentive to ensure his food was gluten free.

Enjoyed the Turkey Dinner, the stuffing was a bit well done. The service was very good! Enjoyed a new glass of wine, Wee Angust.

No hot kitchen. No fuss. No dishes. What a great meal that I actually could enjoy this year. Well worth the money. We will book in again for Thanksgiving next year. ❤️

I took my daughter for her birthday and we stayed 2hours plus without being served. We told them to pack our meal, WHO GOES FOR A BIRTHDAY DINNER AND HAVE TO PACK THE FOOD HOME? It took additional 45mins to package the food. My daughter was sad on her birthday.

Consistently good Keg experience. We go there whenever we want a night out to be predictably great. We had appetizers, Keg Classic dinners and desserts. All prepared perfectly. Or server was personable and humorous - he quietly made sure that all things were replenished without asking. It was a great night.

We arrived late in the evening when the regular dinning room is closed. The bar is open with no others around. The prime rib was good and the wine matched. Onion soup tasted good but the crouton was hard to chew

Our table sent steaks back a total of 3 times, but I am still giving 5 stars. Why?

As always, when I make an online reservation everything was easy and when we showed up 10 minutes early we were still promptly taken to our seats. We were a party of two and were sat and immediately attended upon with drinks and bread. Our party ordered a 7 oz filet, medium, and a 7 oz blue cheese filet, medium rare, and unfortunately they came out well done and medium well respectively instead. Our party is Canadian as heck and have never complained at a restaurant before so hesitated to bring it up, but we did end up sharing our discontent with the cook of our steaks to our wonderful server. She alerted management who came out immediately who explained the process that they would gladly replace our steaks, and left us our potatoes to continue grazing on while they recooked new steaks. Not long after new steaks came out (with fresh new potato sides!!) delivered by the kitchen manager, and while my blue cheese filet was a perfect medium rare, my party member's medium filet was very rare, so it was quickly re-sent back for a refire and then very quickly came back out cooked a perfect medium. I greatly respect that the kitchen manager asked us to cut into them to make sure they met our expectations right there upon delivery, and quickly agreed my party member's steak was rare. The general manager came back out during this and stated my party member's steak would be on the house due to the inconvenience, which we greatly appreciated.

Well the delay wasn't ideal, we ended up with the delicious steaks we were hoping for and the staff completely owned up to the kitchen issues and we left completely satisfied and will be back.

PS: The Raspberry Sorbet limited time desert was fantastic.

Always a good consistent time at the keg. Great service, atmosphere, clean and consistency along all other kegs. Steaks were flavourful and done right. Cheese toast, escargot, whisky sour and billy miner pie - good staples to always get. Recommend making a reservation.

Have always been happy in person but tried ordering gift card for people in Regina as I live in Calgary Done on line as I was told this is only way
Both times charges were made to my visa for total of $400 after everything cleared according to email I was informed could not process my gift cards
Why charge my visa then?
Contacted location and talked to a manager to see why this happened and if could still get gift card
She pretended I was confusing her and getting her upset
Phoned my visa bank and found charges were made and wait till next week to see if refund
Anyway still out $400 in charges
Why charge me if cannot process for any reason?

Nice ambiance and good food. Though a steakhouse, they have very decent vegetarian and vegan options 👌
