Every dish we ordered was cooked to perfection, and it was such a wonderful surprise when the chef took the time to come out and visit with us during our dinner. It’s rare to find a place that hits a home run on food, hospitality, and personal care like this.“

Freshly made Chinese donuts that is hot and crunchy.

The lamb Skewers were very good too, the portion were nice, and you can taste the lamb flavor while not too gamy at the same time, making it a good balance. They put on a mixture of fatty and leanier piece on the skewer, which gives it a good balance of flavor and texture.

The tofu were pretty good too with different flavors, sweet or whatever suits you.

Didn't get the noodles but they looked good, might have to try those next time I visit.“

“Never disappoints. We’ve been for casual dinners and dim sum. Food always hot and tasty. The owner and staff always make us feel welcome and comfortable. Try the hot and sour soup as my brother, who circumnavigated the world three times with the navy, says it’s one of the best he’s had.“

Their Sichuan-style boiled beef is flavorful and tender, the roast duck is crispy on the outside and juicy inside, the dry-pot pork intestine is rich and aromatic, and their sweet-and-sour squirrel fish is absolutely delightful. On top of the amazing food, the owner and staff are incredibly welcoming and warm. Highly recommend this place if you love authentic Chinese cuisine!“

“Stopped by Red Pepper a few days ago after an afternoon of shooting photos around downtown Saskatoon and honestly it was exactly the kind of meal I needed. The butter chicken was rich and perfectly spiced, not watered down like some places do it. The lighting inside is really warm and cozy which I actually appreciated from a photography standpoint, though I kept my camera in the bag and just enjoyed the atmosphere. The server talked us into fried chicken as an appetizer and it is like no other - crispy, juicy and spiced just right. Don't let the building turn you away, the cook knows what they are doing!!“

But it was all fresh tasty and the temperature was just perfect. Then it’s not so delicious. You shovel it into your face and then your stomach hurts later. “Honestly one of those places that never misses 😭 The shrimp with egg is literally my happy pill at this point like if I’m having a bad day, this meal can genuinely fix my mood LOL. It’s so comforting, flavorful, and always cooked perfectly.

And the tripes??? SO GOOD. If you know, you KNOW. Packed with flavor and always a must-order for me. But the squid absolutely stole the show this time because it was PHENOMENAL. Perfect texture, seasoned so well, and disappeared from the table in like 2 minutes.

Everything always tastes fresh, the portions are great, and the food comes out hot every time. This place is seriously a hidden gem and one of my favorite comfort food spots in the city. Already craving it again while writing this review 😂“

The food we had was yummy and kids liked it really well. The two problems I experienced with he place are the ambiance isn't good, they should work on that to bring more customer to this place and the other one is customer service, they should work on that as well. Rest the quality and quantity of the food was good. Parking space was available.“
